What are the odds that, after a day to tension, hype and expectation, the crowd at tonight's Raw is a flop and WWE simply try to proceed as they originally planned?

WrestleMania 10 - Bret Hart becomes the top star

WrestleMania 20 - Chris Benoit (Aka Vacant) becomes a star

WrestleMania 30 - Will Daniel Bryan be that star?

What Main Events Mania though? If you have Lesnar and Taker in other matches, there isn't a big money match they could put together to sell that card. I'm a Cena fan, but no way in hell does Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena sell me Mania. HHH and punk certainly can't close the show. After last night, there's no way Orton vs. Batista should close the show, and I certainly wouldn't spend money on a card with that match as a headliner.

Creatively the WWE has backed themselves into a corner. Taker vs. Lesnar is the only big money match on what the card is looking like as of now.

I think there's a different match added. Bryan in the title match would close it out just fine.

Why are PPVs on a Sunday?

Do you ever see this changing?

They used to be on different days. Wrestlemania II was on a Monday, there were a few on Saturday and Survivor Series was on Thanksgiving night and then Thanksgiving Eve before going to Sunday. There were even a few on Tuesdays which bombed. It tends to work best as people don't go out as often and there's less to do.

Nah. The system works.

I'm still on the "believe it when I see it" bandwagon, but I have a few hypotheticals regarding Sting to WWE:

Do they hype it, or is it a surprise appearance?

What kind of pop do you think it'll get? I'm not trying to knock TNA, but they have a fraction of the audience WWE has and it's been a long time since WCW. Does his pop suffer for it? I wouldn't think so, but WWE has a large child audience.

Would you rather him come down the ramp, or be spotted in the rafters?

I could just imagine the uproar if the Raw after WM30 Undertaker is in the ring cutting a promo to close the show. Suddenly a camera catches Sting in the rafters and they catch eyes as the screen goes black.

Also, being that it would be Sting interrupting him, I'd even say Undertaker being advertised for a "retirement speech" would be the perfect draw in. It doesn't fit his character at all, but since it's being set up to start the build to a dream match, it's a great bait and switch.

Whose dream is that anyway?

Don't you think Angle got a up a little quick after missing the Moonsault this past week on Impact?

Eh a bit.

Now that we're in Sting speculation mode, would WWF have died if they booked Starcade 1997 properly and had Sting kill the NWO for good?

Also, why doesn't WWE actually have midcard feuds any more? It would be a bit of extra effort but lord knows they have the TV time. Instead of meaningless matches, guys like Ziggler, Kofi, Miz, Fandango etc. would get a bit of promo time and have a reason to fight. They might even get over more!

I haven't watched in a loooooong while. Bryan is awesome, Batista is back, NAO are back and tag champs? Have I missed anything truly of note?

Also, the other day I made a Paul Konerko/retiring wrestler analogy and I was pretty proud of it. Hi, KB!

So if Sting does come in, what song do they use? No way they use the TNA theme for obvious reasons.

As much as we all love his crow gimmick, I dont think that theme ( circa Starrcade 97) is what they will use. At least not until he fights Taker & they put a new version together.

I think they would go with his Kill Em All theme (if they have the rights) or a new one. Like a Jim Johnston remix of "Man Called Sting" but less cheesy or a version of his "Turbo Charged" theme from back in the day.

What do you think KB?

Seek & Destroy, that was it. I couldnt remember the name of the song but remembered the album.

What are your thoughts about using Rusev at the RR. Was it a one shot, or is he next to show on the main roster after Wrestlemania? They do like having guys his size around, but WWE seems to have almost too many guys up already & not enough to do.
