No.

That's more along the lines of letting someone speak their mind a bit. Before you ask, no I'm not saying it was a shoot because it wasn't. At the end of the day, that promo led up to a match. WWE has called Cena Superman on Raw before. They're not blind to what's out there, but I don't think it's so much listening to them as much as trying something new.

Overall thoughts on Sting?
Who have been the faces of the WWE since its beginning? I can imagine Hogan and SCSA on that list.
Has Chris Benoit ever been mentioned on TV since his death?
Will Taker v. Cena happen at Mania next year?
If a wrestler is killed on TV by an accident in the ring, what is the company's next step? Will the company fold?

Best and Worst Rumble Match you have seen?

Best 2000
Worst 1999

Great worker, insanely popular, the reason I got into WCW.
Bruno, Rock and Cena are also on it.
Other than his memorial show, no.
I think so.
Fold? No. Probably stop the show for sure.

Wait, Cesaro lost to Ryback, who's American. I haven't watched as avidly lately, so have they abandoned that whole, "Can't lose to Americans," angle or is Cesaro just ignoring his loss?

It's only for the title.

This already happened with Owen Hart.

I'm sure your thought is "but oh, he wasn't dead in the ring, they said he died later!" No, he almost certainly died on impact. However, you don't just see a man take a grievous injury and assume he's dead. You assume he's alive and do everything you can to save him until you're sure that those efforts have failed. For that reason, barring a freak decapitation, you're never going to see someone be killed in the ring. You might see them land very badly on their neck, have a match stopped and see confusion break out, but no one is going to declare him 'dead' right there.

As far as what happened? They cut to a wide shot and showed promo packages, scrapped Owen off the mat, and continued the pay-per-view. In hindsight, again, no one knew Owen had just died. Brutal "mass times velocity" math doesn't come into play in the minutes immediately after you've seen a guy you've worked with for years take a horrible injury, and I'm sure that no one who made the decision to carry on the show could have known that Owen had died.

Would the company in question close? It would all come down to if they could afford the lawsuit from the family members that would inevitably come. ROH, Chikara, Dragon Gate, they'd all be cleaned out by lawyers fees. With TNA, it would come down to how much personal money the Carters would be willing to kick in towards a potential settlement. (Sidebar: If you read that and thought "Panda Energy has tons of money", Panda Energy isn't TNA's piggybank. You don't just send over money to a subsidiary because they need it, you send it over because you think sending it now would result in having more later.) The WWE would be fine, although they'd pay out more in a settlement, having a larger public footprint that could be pressured.

Very, very, very few business owners, especially in professional wrestling, would close a company simply because they felt bad, and regulation is pretty non-existent for these guys.

Do you really think Anderson will join A&8's? From a logic standpoint, I really hope not.

Piggybacking that, if Anderson does join A&8's, will you begin to suspect Vince Russo is secretly back on Impact's payroll? :lmao: Not really a serious question, but feel free to mock them if you will.

Do you think that if Austin vs Hogan had taken place at Wrestlemania X-8, the fans would've turned on Austin, the same way the did with The Rock? And if so, do you think that Austin didn't want to wrestle against Hogan, because he was afraid of that?

I doubt it. It's an instinct but I doubt it.

Destroy the WWE in ten feasible steps...? (not neccesarily steps you can personally take, more like "John Cena Quits" etc.)

Lose their deal on USA, Vince dies, Cena retires, I don't feel like coming up with seven more.

Yep, that's almost entirely what happened.

Why aren't the freebirds in the HOF?

Because the WWE HOF is a joke.

Dusty says in a legends round table it was his idea, the idea it was a rib comes from a Mean Gene shoot.

The rib was Virgil being called Virgil.

A idea I have had for a few days now would be for HHH to cost Rock the title at the Rumble. He would later go on to explain he couldn't let a part timer win the WWE title and come an go as he pleased with that title, this would of course set up a match between Rock and HHH at Mania with HHH being a heel. Punk would than hold onto the stap which would set up a streak v streak match at mania against Taker. And for the World title we would get the blowoff match between Cena and Ziggler with Ziggler walking in as champ after cashing in his breifcase sometime between now and mania.

So I ask you how you feel about my proposed main event matches for this years Mania? What do you like? and Don't like?
