In a recent interview, Hulk Hogan was talking about how The Rock "buried" Cena in his return promo. The question isn't so much about that particular circumstance, but I noticed how alot of people seem to look at every insult someone uses in a promo as a "burial". Nobody can make a really good insult without being criticized (like what The Rock did with Cena and The Miz).

The question I have is, do most fans ( regular fans, not smarks)see these kinds of things as a burial? Does it really effect a performer's credibility as much as the IWC and some inside the buisness seem to think?

Not only that, but where is the line between a really good insult and something actually hurting the person's credibility?

Obvioulsy I know there isn't one definitive answer to either question, but just a rough idea would be much appreciated.

Burial is one of those terms that is used WAY too much. Rock didn't bury Cena. Rock gave Cena the rub of a lifetime and they're just getting started.

I don't think fans see it as a burial. They see it as OH SHIT ROCK IS TALKING ABOUT CENA!!!!!!!

No it doesn't hurt their credibility. Hogan was more or less a comedy show back in the 80s with his insulting of other guys.

What was the deal with Eric Escobar being gone?

I hated when he was her boyfriend, but one of the things I would watch SmackDown for was his digs at her weight etc. One week he was just randomly gone. What happened?

This was during my hiatus from here when I didn't have internet, so yeah.

cool, one more.
I know wwe is doing well and seems to be focusing on the right wrestlers, but what are some negatives that you can find in their product today?
What about what TNA is doing right?

You mentioned the overuse of the term buried. Can you name something that happened recently that would classify as burial?

First and foremost the two world titles and the quick title changes. For instance Gabriel/Slater are three time tag champions now which is more than the Hart Foundation. Think that's a bit excessive? Also like I said, unify the world titles. Having two world title matches at Mania has always bugged me. Look at this past year's when the main event was one match, not for the title. How huge was that to be able to point to it and say THIS is the main event of Wrestlemania? It helps a lot more than you would think it does.

Losing a few matches is not being buried. If let's say Kofi loses the title in 2 minutes to Swagger, doesn't win a match for two months and then winds up opening Superstars against Zach Ryder, that's being buried. If someone is flat out destroyed by someone time after time and goes down the totem pole because of it, that can be classified as being buried at times. Simply losing more than twice in a row isn't being buried.

I recently watched INVASION. Besides the womens match I honestly didn't enjoy any of the matches. I stopped watching from 2001-2009. When I saw the names I was so excited when I saw the matches. I enjoyed the tag match the most with Edge and Christian. What did you think of the ppv?

It's more of WWE going after the international audience which is a very good idea. Hard to say where it'll go. Far too early to tell.

At the end of the day, once everything is said and done, and both John Cena and The Rock are 100% completely retired, who do you think will have had the bigger legacy?

Wouldn't it have made more sense to have Randy Orton vs The Miz Main Event WrestleMania considering the tear Randy's been on since last WM?

Also wouldn't it make sense to have Cena wrestle Punk and finally disband Nexus(have that as a stipulation in the match) after the year he's had with them?

Sure, if Orton hadn't had 9000 title shots in the last year already.

He's had more than enough with Nexus already. I'm tired of taht feud.

Thoughts on Cody Rhodes' programme with Rey Mysterio?

Could do well for Cody as he has some potential.
