So, WWE has announced on the site that tonight on Raw it will be John Cena and a mystery partner versus the Miz and Big Show.

Wouldn't it be crazy if for the second week in a row the mystery partner was Mister Kennedy?

All this stuff and the confirmation that he's been released left and right and it STILL ends up being a work that ends up with Mr. Kennedy making TWO big returns in two weeks?

I'd get kind of a kick out of it. Just saying.

And I apologize that I've had so many Kennedy related posts in the last few days. Forgive me. :icon_biggrin:

I think that if this was a month or two later, then yes it could work. the problem is, a lot of people simply wouldn't know Kennedy was ever gone so it wouldn't surprise a lot of people. With just a week in between, the surprise just wouldn't be there. It would just be a big deal about nothing and would only surprise the smarks that knew what was going on or the people that saw it on the website and got confused. I'd love it in 6 weeks or so, butn ot tonight.

The Kennedy thing isn't a work people. Let it go. Vince McMahon isn't smart enough anymore to come up with something that good and well thought out. Even if it was some sort of genius storyline, it would be too quick. It'd be better to milk in on TV and have him screw Orton at the PPV.

HBK will be the partner imo. He's been out long enough to rest up, and they'll want him asap for more starpower due to the shit ratings.

it hopefully will be hbk to hold over the miz till he gets to cena once they finally end the dumb ass big show fued for the what millionth time.

I'm just curious. Why do people like you think this thing with Kennedy is a work? I don't see a lot of people really giving a basis for their opinion on why it would be a work.

You're honestly giving WWE way too much credit, here.

Do you think if it was a work, that Kennedy would go on his Twitter page and shake his wrists violently, to make a statement to the fanbase, if it was something WWE wanted to keep a secret?

I'm slightly offended that you grouped me that way. Haha. I don't think it is a work anymore, I only did at the very beginning. I just felt like this would be a fun post. I'm sure I wasn't the only person to kind of laugh at the nonrealistic possibility of that happening.

But I'll willingly share why I thought it could have been a work originally. The first thing was when I meandered over to WWE.com and saw the release notice that called him "(Ken Kennedy)" which isn't his real full name. And the fact that I thought the reason for his release was kind of ridiculous to just do.

I do see how you and Lil Wes could have taken my original post as being completely serious as the only possible hint that I was just having fun with it was the smiley at the end which doesn't say much.

I'd be cool with it being HBK. I personally would NOT be crazy about him feuding with the Miz but if they're going to do that, so be it.

I think it'd be hysterical if Kendrick offered to partner with Cena, just to see if Cena would make a good partner (since that seems to be what Kendrick is up to these days).

That said, Kennedy's not coming back. Even if he did, I doubt it'd be on Raw, as Orton's still there.

I have a feeling it's going to be Jeff Hardy.

As WZ reported earlier today, he was "called to the office" after anticipating a day off and it makes no sense to make him show up to tape a Superstars match when he could very easily tape the match tomorrow during the Smackdown tapings.
