Legit for now. horse's mouth > Dirtsheet. If a more valid source than the PWinsider posts saying it's a work, then I'll change my opinion.

R-Truth beat John Morrison via ref stoppage due to an injury to Morrison's ankle in :57 seconds. A good show of sportsmanship by Truth helping Morrison up and out of the ring.

this is the report of it from the spoiler results.

I think that since it happened so quick, it could have been just a change of thought by the WWE, and just an easier way to get HBK into EC, and it was just a easy way to do it, by having an injury 1 minute into a match

I was refering to the twitter of Morrison saying 'broken ankle' and a dirtsheet saying 'not broken ankle'. I'm taking the twitter for now.

I think it's legit. I understand why ppl jump on somethings, but damn, ppl really do get hurt. Everything isnt a work. I guess it's not all bad if he gets time off soon considering Melina tore her ACL and seeing as how they are together they can spend a lot of time together off the road on their road to recovery
I'd enjoy time off with Melina
I'm just saying may not be a bad thing, but missing WrestleMania will be, hopefully he's back by then

I will vote depending on if they put it on SmackDown tonight. If they don't have it there then it's real, but if it IS on there then it's a work.

If its real, wouldn't they have it on as proof? Or do they cut it out because it would be "a disturbing image" or something

Exactly. Remember, this is a PG WWE who stops matches for a papercut and edits out chair shots on the internet.

I've watched the match, which was aired in its entirity (all 57 seconds of it). It looked like Morrison did fall alkwardly, and the Ref said (loud enough for the camera to pick up) to the announcer (I think) "We can't continue this match, he's twisted his ankle", after asking Morrison if he wanted to continue (presumably he did, as he tried to get up after it was asked). R-Truth's music didn't go off after the match, for whatever reason (I dont know of that's standard practice when matches are stopped due to injury, or for some other reason (like not being scheduled to win).

Of course it seems like the injury wasnt that bad as he was wrestling the next day and surfing today.

I voted that its a complete work. It didnt look like he came down hard on it at all, even in the replays. striker tried to sell it too hard that he was hurt. And then Morrison posted on his Twitter that he broke it in three places, but he was going to "walk it off". And hes wrestling in Ecuador. Ive broken my ankle before, and had surgery on it after trying to do things on it for a bit. Its impossible. Its a work to get HBK into the Smackdown chamber, or possibly Batista.

Does anyone esle see this coming..its a damn work
HBK is going to take his place and become a heel..morrison is going to get pissed at him..
BAM wrestlemania dream match that everyone wants. Morrison vs HBK at wrestlemania

Of course it's fake! It's obviously a ploy to get Beth Phoenix into the Elimination Chamber where she'll become World Heavyweight Champion, then she'll win MITB at Wrestlemania and cash it in on Triple H to unify the belts and become the new Undisputed CHAMPION~!!!!

DUUUUH!!

Absolutely a work. Guys, there is one law of wrestling that never, ever goes away---if you see it aired on television (especially if it's a pre-taped show and not live), than it's a work. Simple as that.

I mean, he could be injured, sure, but he definitely did not injure it during that match with R-Truth, you could see him purposely trip himself up. And if it were real, they would never have even showed the match.

BOOM! What I said has credibility.
