Occasional Pre-Show
John Cena was on BET's 106 & Park on Wednesday promoting his movie 12 Rounds with his co-star Brian J. White. The crowd went crazy for Cena. On the show, Terrance was asking Cena if he was watching the Freestyle Friday Final. Cena acknowledges that he has been tuning in. Terrance asks the fans who they feel will win the battle and then asks Cena if he has a favorite for the last 2 emcees in the battle. The crowd went with one opponent (Kay M), while Cena went with Kay M's opponent. After choosing, Rosci put Cena on the spot to see if he could "spit a couple of bars" on TV. Cena declined by saying how "off guard" he was.

This might seem too "out there" of a post, but a couple of questions came up after watching this segment. Should Cena get back into rapping, if not for mainstream purposes, but as the character he was in WWE (meaning to do it periodically/rare moments) now since he is more of a household name and still popular with an rap/r&b audience? Could Cena have sparked a rivalry between one of the contenders of Freestyle Friday by going against the fans choice? Is Cena even a viable person that could critique a rap battle since he "politely" ignored a request to spit a couple of bars on national television?
Thoughts?
