While WWF's head of talent relations, JJ was asked by Vince to make calls to wrestlers for a photo shoot in California, all expenses paid. JJ called all the stars, but one stated he would not be going because he was attending his daughter's birthday. JJ told Vince, and Vince said "no problem, he can stay home." A couple days later, that same wrestler claimed JJ had cancelled his travel itinerary to the photo shoot and told Vince that he'd never spoken to JJ.
