Jericho on Raw

I am in favor of Jericho moving to Raw, for one simple reason. I am more inclined to watch his promos than I am to go to the bathroom. Even if he is just talking on the mic, my butt stays glued to the seat. Jericho keeps my attention on the TV.

I think most of the main eventers going to Raw and the up and comers going to Smackdown is a smart move. Most of the guys that went to Smackdown are guys who are upper mid carders waiting to move to the main event. Jack Swagger just got a huge push to the main event. Kofi Kingston and Christian are more than ready to make the move to the main event and this could be the move to do it.

Smackdown in the past has been used to launch upper mid card talent into Main Event Superstars examples, Brock Lesner, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, JBL, Booker T, and John Cena.

So I think this is a great move for these guys. I think they are just getting ready to make these guys main eventers.

I'm a HUGE proponent of what they did as far as the draft (FINALLY; I thought I'd never say that again with the recent direction of the WWE).

As much as Jericho was a asset on SD, I'm sure that WWE realized that they need to load up their heavy-hitters on Raw. Primarily because it is, and will always remain, the A show and the show that they put the most investment in (although SD had better talent). It also has better network exposure than SD. I know that SD is changing networks, but it isn't until the fall.

Until then, it looks like they will be using SD as a show to groom new main-eventers (Kofi, Ziggler, McIntyre, Christian, etc.), in which I am a full advocate of.

So I believe that Jericho ran his course on SD, and now its time to vie for the WWE title, a title that he has never had specifically (he had his reign as undisputed champ).

I think it's a great move bringing the a-list to Raw. Considering SD has Swagger as champ who probably isn't ready to carry the brand it's better to have him on a taped show. Although I gotta say his matches have been damn good the past few weeks (vs Taker, vs Jericho & Edge, vs Morrison) he's still green as hell on the mic. With all the younger talent they have on SD this could make for some interesting feuds and maybe some pushes for guys who have the talent but have been shit on in the past (Christian, CM Punk). SD still has the big names to groom the younger talent and keep the people coming back for more, while still leaving the field open for the up and comers

Jericho going back to Raw was pointless, even more so with Edge over there as well. Jericho would be a hell of a lot more successful on SmackDown then Raw and now Christian doesn't have many people to contend with. Yes there's Swagger and Big Show, Punk, Rey and now Kofi too, but the main event talent is mostly gone. Hell, even Morrison, who's coming through the ranks is gone.

Jericho was much more suited for SmackDown and I think this is a huge mistake on WWE's part.

Jericho being drafted to Raw made no sense. His feud with Edge couldn't have gone any further. Who is he now going to feud with on Raw? He would have been better off on Smackdown, where he could have at least feuded with the likes of the newly transferred Kofi Kingston or Christian. There are now too many 'main eventers' on Raw and not enough left on Smackdown, IMO.

easy storyline now morpheus, it can be Jericho and Miz teaming up. they can say they are tired of big show and they will unite, and eventually fued with JoMo and truth for a shot at the unified tag titles. You like???

Jericho can be used very carefully. I could see frustration last night in his eyes about losing so much which if played carefully can turn out to be a face turn. Thats what i would love. As soon as jericho made his long awaited return a couple years ago he played a beautiful face.

I like the move, but as soon as I saw it happen i said to myself "well so much for Hart Dynasty's big title win, now they're just going to team Jericho and Miz up" lol. I expect "JeriMiz"? to win tag titles sooner than later so they can get both of them on both shows.

I'm actually pissed off he was "drafted" (moved) to raw. He was doing good with smackdown. Now when Undertaker Takes time off its only Undertaker and CM punk who are worthy of watching the show for. Comon they cleaned smackdown superstars and took Raw Jobbers there. Is WWE thinking about TNA for a sec there?!

Chris Jericho and the WWE have a lot of options when dealing with his character, which is now on Raw, and I for one am quite happy about it. It seems as though his feud with Edge is over, Cena and Batista will be going at it for at least another month, Orton and Edge might be into some kind of feud, etc., etc. But remember, WWE often books more than two guys to fight it out for the WWE championship. I could very easily see Jericho and/or others entering the Cena/Batista feud for the WWE Championship.

If Jericho stays heel, I can easily see him being the next to challenge Cena for the WWE Championship. Batista is more than likely leaving the WWE, so that feud will be done after the next ppv (if not sooner). I know there are other superstars who could possibly be in line for a feud with Cena (Edge, Orton, Sheamus, etc.) for the WWE title, but Jericho is the only guy who really doesn't have anything going right now, along with Sheamus. So that's always a possibility. You have to think about it, Cena/Batista only has about a month left, so it's not like Jericho will be sitting around doing nothing for too long.

Also as a heel, Jericho could engage in a feud that has nothing to do with a title. They could throw him into a feud with a younger, mid-card face, like John Morrison or R-Truth. Also, never put it past the WWE to put together some random, superstar-style tag team like ShoMiz. I could see Jericho ending up in another one of those, although I don't think it's likely.

The face turn is a good option as well. I too have become bored with his heel character (at times). It would be good to see the old Chris Jericho, the Lionheart, back to his comedic ways. He and the Miz could have a great feud for the U.S. title for the next month or two, if Jericho were able to pull of a complete face turn that quickly. Also, as a face, he could have a nice feud with Ted DiBiase over the Million Dollar title. And then there is always Sheamus, who isn't really doing any in particular at the moment with Triple H on the shelf. Jericho can drop down to the mid card, and it will never hurt his chances of coming back into the WWE title picture, he's done it many times before.

As usual, I think the options are endless for Jericho. I would like to see him turn face and have a feud with The Miz or Ted DiBiase. But who knows what they will do. Smackdown is now pretty low on talent (when compared to Raw that is), so Jericho could have had a nice run over there. But I was ready to see Jericho back on Raw, and hopefully, somewhere down the line, as a somewhat comedic babyface.

When Jericho first came out I hated him, but the man had talent. He had a good look, good moves, amazing mic skills, etc.

Now...not so much...He has lost alot of muscle mass, doesnt move very well in the ring anymore. You hardly see him do his springboard kick anymore(and don't go saying "he did it in the match vs edge..before that, when was the last time he did it?) and we haven't seen him do his backflip off the rope( for the life of me I can't remember the name of this move) in a very long time.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve the title shot or anything, I just think his time has passed. Give other people a shot at the title.

Moving him to Raw I think was a bad idea. He could have stayed on SD and helped the younger guys get more legit matches. Having someone beat the first undisputed champ is a great way to help them out. Of course, only have them win after building them up some beforehand.

Jericho did all that he could when he was on Smackdown as well as Edge, Truth, and Morrison and that's why they went to RAW. Basically all RAW and Smackdown did was switch midcarders. I can see a Jericho feud with Orton or even HHH down the road when he gets back. This opens the door for Christian because with Undertaker taking time off, he will be the top face of that brand along with Mysterio so it is much beneficial for him.

Jericho had a good solid year on SD! elevating the IC belt and the tag belts with Show whilst still remaining relevant on all 3 shows. He's probably better suited for Raw and this gives him a good amount of exposure. He's possibly the next in line to fued with Cena and possibly a fued with the likes of John Morrison or even Randy Orton. Jericho is without a doubt one of the most hated guys on the roster and his presence on Raw is probably necessary (a necessary evil if you will) with Punk's (similar) character on SD!

I think there are three possible reasons that Chris Jericho was drafted to Raw.

1. Chris Jericho may have went to Raw to fill the possible void left by Batista if he leaves. If he stays, this move is pointless, as Raw has 4 major heels. Edge, Sheamus, Chris Jericho, and Batista. Whereabouts Smackdown would only have 1 and a half. C.M. Punk, and Jack Swagger, who is still trying to become that major heel he needs to be.

2. Chris Jericho may have went to Raw because they wanted to make Smackdown the ECW type show. I know that Smackdown is nothing alike ECW, but to me it looks like the NXT rookies will go to Smackdown, making it a building up show to get to Raw.Like ECW was to get to Smackdown. With Jericho there, there would be nobody who is could beat him (basically), saying he should be champion all the time, now a wrestler in the mid-push or gaining credibility stage could be champion. (Swagger, Christian, Kofi)

3. The final and most explainable reason is that there was nobody left for Jericho to fued with, now him going to Raw opens up fueds with many wrestlers.
