Kane To Raw

I am puzzled by the move as well, and as a big Kane fan, I just don't understand it.

If they never pulled this move, Kane going to Raw, they still could've brought Mark Henry over to ECW to feud with Kane and be someone for Kane to defeat in his title run, but they didn't do that.

Even if the plan the entire way was to elevate Mark Henry to the ECW title, wouldn't Kane still be better off on ECW as somebody who could be challenging for the title?

I felt like Kane accomplished a lot in ECW in just 3 months that he was there. For one, being ECW champion, it put the title way above where it was. Two, he still put over the likes of Chavo and Morrisson at points too. He would pick up the wins when he had to, thus he didn't lose too much steam at any given point, and almost immediately after every loss he took, he'd re-establish himself as the force of ECW.

To me, it was the best of both worlds. Somebody who broke into the main event scene on the main two brands at least once every year was the ECW Champion, and he was a rare champion that was over with the fans and able to put himself, the title, and his opponents over all at the same time.

Kane seemed to serve a big purpose there.

Now he's back on Raw, and WWE already has no idea what to do with him, hence, he takes out on Jamie Noble on Raw.

When CM Punk became champion and JBL and Cena stepped up (and the WWE.com preview of Raw for the week questions whether Batista will too) it's almost as if WWE is pretending that Kane didn't just lose a World Title, he didn't just get drafted, he shouldn't be making an impact on his new brand, etc. etc.

As somebody who lost his title on Sunday, he pops up on Monday, and you'd think logically he'd want to get involved in a title hunt on Raw, but WWE has him beat up Jamie Noble.

Kane serves no purpose on Raw.

At least on Smackdown! he'd add depth to the main event scene, but on Raw there's so much already.

Maybe potentially they can be planning a big push, since they usually give people a push on ECW and then move them over to the main brand, so maybe they'll eventually have it so Kane feels shafted not being a part of the title picture and snaps, turning heel, and maybe dominating Raw for a few months, getting another title run, before eventually just turning into the monster who puts everyone over again.

For me Kane's moving to Raw was a bad choice I mean he been doing well on ECW. On Raw what he has won since 2005 only a Tag title so I truly belive Kane moving to Raw wasa bad ideia

Wow, lay off the Kane hate. Kane is a victim of horrible choices and a total lack of willingness to ever do anything of value/interest with him. Let's take a look at some Kane history.

Made a (imo) earth shattering debut as the little brother of Undertaker along with one of the greatest gimics to ever come out of WWE and a costume that most horror movie productions should wish they were able to come up with.

Kane was awesome to watch, his music fit perfect, the costume - intimidated. His acting while in the costume was superb, the mannurisms, the way he would fix his glove, the way that you couldn't hurt him.. only hope to put him down for 3 whole seconds before he sits up. If you go watch old Undertaker matches (I mean the really old ones) Kane mannurisms were almost exactly the same, the way he'd fight, the noises he would make while fighting ect. The whole thing was just really well put together on WWE's part and Kane.

His matches were also good. He has had very good - great matches with Stone Cold, Undertaker, HHH, Mankind and i'm sure the rock too though I can't recall them. Countless pointless yet fun to watch squash matches and a bunch of awesome tag matches during The brothers of destruction stints.

The problem is since his debut it's been all down hill.

To my knowledge he has never won a match vs his brother. This was understandable though because it showed a little brother complex.. all though kane was so strong that was still his older brother and in a family like that I can surely understand how that's one thing Kane may not over come. None the less there were quite a few times Kane could have been put over.

He won the title from Austin thanks to the Undertaker and loses it back the next day. This made for some awesome TV and I remember going crazy for the Austin win back and let's face it there's no shame in losing to the rattlesnake.

After this there were low points and high points. Every so often Kane makes a come back yet every come back becomes less meaningfull and where he's left after each come back is always lower then before. After awhile Kane got shoved deeper and deeper down into the mid card. Matches that should have taken 30 seconds to win now take him 10 and he looks like a fool even if he gets the pin. His gimic? Not even a shadow of its former self. His matches? Lazy and uninspired. His acting? Horrid. Kane is supposed to be a monster yet every time he gets kicked in the stomache he checks his nose for blood.

I don't see this as just being Kane's fault I put most the blame on WWE and the rest on Kane for it seeming like he doesn't give two craps what direction they have him go. Kane was so awesome though that the guy deserves respect for once what was and all that could have been.

I could go on and on about all the horrible kane story line moves and booking.. katie vick, snitsky baby killer, the removing of the mask, anything that involved x-pac, anything else that had snitsky making kane look like a school girl only for snitsky to move to heat sniffing feet with gold dust (Are you fucking serious?), all the loop holes in the kane story, All of Kane's tag team partners that weren't Austin, Undertaker or mankind. I could go on forever, Kane having a Hard time vs Shane (Shane has some talent but c'mon!). You get the picture.

The last good story was when kane was still masked and Austin came out to try and give him a "Pep Talk". I thought this was an amazing chance. Kane was a shell of his former self and someone finally let him know it. Austin not being a active wrestler and having a long history with Kane decides to try and help Kane do something about it in his own way. He asks kane what the hell has he become? He abuses him, taunting him.. stepping on his boots.. smacking him in the face. Basically letting him know you're supposed to be feared and yet here is what people think of you. This was a great chance for Kane to go back to what he was.. yet instead it lead to him losing the mask.
How cool would it have been for Kane to win the belt.. celebrate a bit *Glass breaks* Austin comes in the ring. Kane grabs Austin by the throat.. Austin kicks Kane and gives him a stunner. Calls for beer.. drinks a bit. Grabs a closed one, sets it next to Kane.. gives him the finger and leaves the ring. Kane sits up and his pyro/music hit.. looks at austin..looks at the beer..looks at austin and does the head turn. *show ends* ..think about it.

Wow.. Sorry, I got totally off topic with this. Point was don't hate on Kane. He's a good wrestler who doesn't bother trying anymore because there's no point and that there is a lot more that could have been done with him. At this point none of it matters. He is what he is and will never go back unless a miracle happens. So who really cares where he goes?

Ive said it before and I still cant say it enough. Kane is with out doubt the most under rated wrestler in the history of the wwe. Its sad to see how much of a waste his career has amounted to. When he actualy had great talent the wwe always underutilized him, he never recieved a full front on push, it was always some lame half push that was eventually dropped.

IMO Kane moving back to RAW was just to have him back on the show he started on and to give him a good send off, as I cant see him being around much longer. Sure there are a few new faces to feud with, but lets be honest Kane hasnt had great feud since Shane McMahon back in 03.

And forget all this '' oh what if so-and-so burned his face and he came back with a mask'' crap. Hes never coming back with the mask and even if he did I dont see how that would make a difference to his in ring abillities. Kane is one of my favourite wrestlers and I can only hope wwe gives him the send off he deserves.

I feel so bad for him he could have been up there with Undertaker but it is just a shame. I don't know where he would fit not even in tna would he fit but a Abyss vs kane match would be awesome. But any way I don't see an hope for Kane. Well maybe if he becomes Vince pet monster that would work. after that i see nothing else.

I have a feeling Kane will win a title soon on Raw but,to get their they just turned him heel so he can beat everyone up and inflict damage on them.Kane,as a heel is a good idea I didn't like him much as a face,it's obvious that will see Jerry Lawler vs Kane.I know that match will be a squash if it does happen which it might.I will say it again I like Kane as heel better because he is good at being heel why?He, can easily make you hate him look all the damage he caused on Raw today. What you think is this a smart move by WWE?Please be sure to answer why if you don't mind thank you.

Kane should go back to when he was the big red monster the times after he just took his mask off an when wreakin havoc on raw. like the time he set j.r on fire. an what was wit the is he alive or dead scenario- was he talkin about vince? was he talkin about paul bearer?(coz it is coming up 2 the g.a.b where the undertaker buried him in cement a few years back. or is he talking about the undertaker himself?
Also i think kane needs a manager by his side someone evil an can be a full heel. an i have the perfect candidate.... Recently released from TNA James Mitchell now he an kane would be a match made in heaven..

They have played him in pretty well I feel. Yes, he has just gone their to get the "more pushed" version of him. But now he is heel and he can keep attacking people, until Paul Bearer (if he does) returns; then have a May 19th-esque type situation.
