Jeff Hardy Done or Injured?

Insideaway.net is reporting jeff is being allowed time off to heal from back and neck injuries he sustained as a result of that botched spot on raw last week how credible the report is i cannot say

hmmm it seems like its because of the injury, if it was drug problems he wouldnt just be ''sent home'' and at the least would have been suspended if not fired...

good thing though, this way he wont be out sooo long because they are not gonna push him, they will do the smart thing and let him heal fast and come back quicker im guessing

cuz i think since hes not main event, and WWE realized that pushing the wrestlers just made them be out for 4-6 months....

Well this could have nothing to do with this but they did just post a big article on wwe.com with him answering fan mail. I would think a guy in hot water would not get par tof the fornt page on the wwe homepage. The article was dated 7/31/07

JEFF OFF FOR TIME TO HEAL
This is an update from Jeff himself that I posted on thehardyshow.com forum.

Jeff sustained neck and back injuries from his fall on last weeks RAW (7/23/07). They (WWE) are giving him time off to heal.

Wonderful... The wrestling Gods have shit on me again. Hardy is going to comeback. How crappy.. The distain I have for Hardy is very deep. I can't stand the guy and I think he is nothing but a glorified stuntman with bad dance moves.

With the amount of injuries and such that they've been taking this year, they can't afford to lose Jeff. HBK, Undertaker, HHH, Booker, Kennedy, Mysterio, Benoit, now Lashley, Umaga worked through an injury, the McMahon death angle was botched, Batista's injury...and I know I'm missing some...if they keep this up, what's next? Are they gonna be scrapping so hard that we then see The Miz running for WWE gold?? Haha. I'll stop watching wrestling again if that happens.

I applaude WWE for taking the right course of Action in regards to Jeff Hardy right now, this is at the very least a PR coup as it can be used as an example of the WWE caring for the Health and Safety of its workers. Hopefully the injury isn't that bad and only needs a few weeks in which Jeff just needs to Heal up in and not going to be a Neck Fusion surgery.

Wow the injured list just keeps going up don't it. Good call to make Umaga go face though. Mid card wise I think there are more heels then faces to start with, so making Umaga a face should make it semi balanced. Onto Hardy. Since it seems that it's an injury I think it's safe to say that he'll be back. Who knows when. At this point it seems that everyone who WWE tries to give a push to gets hurt. SD had been taking alot of the injury hits, but Raw evidentally may have just taken 2 in Lashley and Hardy. As I said in the thread about SD's future. Mabey thee injuries... including Jeff's... will open up the door for some of the other mid carders to step up to main event level. Once Jeff heals I would not be surprised to see him back in the IC chase

I would like to apologize to Jeff Hardy and his fans for my premature assumptions. I was wrong to assume that Hardy was at fault for his unexplained absence before all of the facts came in. So for that, my apologies. I wish Jeff a speedy recovery.

I never though they'd fire him with all the injuries going around, but at the same time, what can they do? They couldn't have taken him off air, that eliminates the point of not firing him. The botch on RAW was really terrible looking so I'm not suprised he is hurt. Funny little side note: did you notice what Kennedy did when he realised that Jeff was in trouble? He actually looked like he tried to stop the fall, but unfortunately he was too late. Of course, he would've caught Jeff from Whisper in the wind anyway, but this thing during the botch was so clearly a reflex. Of course he doesn't want to see Jeff get hurt.

Well, as bad as what I am about to say is, you can hardly blame people for saying he's back on the drugs again seen as thats what happened in the first place?

I agree with Da Vinci. I like Jeff, but if he had gone back to the drugs and no showed, all I'm saying is, it wouldn't be extremely surprising. It's just given his history and knowing that he is capable of doing so. So when Hardy isn't on Raw and his program with Umaga is forgotten, and he is not even mentioned on the show, and then rumors come out of him possibly no-showing the event, at the time it just seems like a plausible scenario.

With that being said, I applaud Jeff for maintaining his professionalism and hope to see him get better and back in the ring soon.

For people that apologized for jumping the gun on Hardy, especially concerning drugs, why apologize. You have nothing to apologize for. Hardy has a proven track record of no showing events, and falling off the wagon from time to time. It was reasonable, and expected for Hardy to get these kind of messages sent to him in this forum. Hardy has the track record which he has made himself, not what the IWC has made. Don't apologize, I won't.

Now, I am still waiting to see something official from WWE, because it is Jeff Hardy saying that he was sent home because he was injured. I don't doubt it after youtubing the injury, it looks nasty, but you never know, it could be a cover.

This is basically what I would say, so instead of me typing, just re-read this.

Seriously, I am a self-confessed Hardy mark (both of them) and would be distraught if Jeff was fired. For about a week, then i'd just tune in to TNA and wait for him to turn up. The injury spot did look masty, but I'm, admittedly, not sure, as straight afterwards he got back up and did the whisper in the wind succesfully. Surely if it was bad enough for him to miss the next week's show, he would have just let Kennedy cover him?

I'm holding out my opinion until he appears on Raw, or in a WWE.com "we wish him all the best in his future endevours, aka TNA Wrestling" thing.

I like Jeff Hardy. No hes not a great wrestler, but i find him entertaining. I'm glad the WWE is letting him take time off.
