Jeff Hardy Done or Injured?

According to Dave Scherer, the statement Jeff Hardy made on his website is not true. Jeff stated that he was given time off to heal from neck and back injuries after a fall last week on RAW. Several sources within the WWE say Jeff has been suspended for his lack of maturity.

When the story originally broke out, there were several conflicting reports of him either no showing or being sent home from TV. All of those reports appear to be false.

Jeff has not been released from the company but isn’t expected to be back for at least 30 days. He will obviously miss this year’s Summerslam PPV.

Well looks like false rumors from Jeff and some site..Lack of maturity??? hmmm sounds like another Randy Orton..At least he won't be on SS. When he gets back he should job until he can learn to act right. Looks like a long suspension for Jeff..hopefully this opens a door for someone more deserving..

I'm sorry but I'm still sticking with what Jeff Hardy noted. I chose Jeff's words instead of some reporter who has no involvement with the company.

Ah, but that's the point, he was lying about the injury, that was just an excuse for his absence from Raw. He doesn't need time off, he lied about that, and thus he is suspended. There you go.

Could be. He was getting a strong push to win the IC Title so i'm not sure. This could have been some backstage incident that happened just recently who knows? There is alot of false rumors going around but I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't the case. Not sure why they just don't fine him and then job him out but I guess we should wait on further reports but if he is indeed some backstage assclown like Orton. Suspend him a good while hes nothing special anyways

Ah, see I knew that if it was only coming from the Hardyshow, then it was a half truth. The Fall looked nasty, and maybe taht's what WWE told him to tell people, to avoid whatever the real thing is.

It's still just speculation with the suspension, but if it is a suspension he has either failed the Wellness Program, threw a bitch fit, or simply no-showed. If he no-showed because he was injured, yet didn't inform anyone in the WWE, then that's on his head.

Like I said earlier, I hope it is an injury, because if its not, then it looks like Jeff Hardy is starting down that same path again that has made me not be a fan of the young Hardy.

If he was suspended or released they wouldnt have put up a video of his career or put up the thing about him on the main page of wwe.com. sounds like that guys is trying to blow some smoke up our asses because he's incompatant

Maybe this latest batch of "immaturity" is setting up his new "prankster" angle and him no showing, and stuff is part of them building the storyline.

I mean with the current WWE writing crop, I doubt they would come up with this intelligent of an idea. Maybe they decided to go with his angle now, the drop on his head, nasty as it looked, could have been a well played spot... and maybe the bump on the noggin made him start acting the way he is in his new role.

you know what though? think about this for a second, fans loved the ECW guys and vince knew that right? fans love jeff hardy and vince knows that too right? well...sabu had done this quite a few times am i wrong? and vince let it slide for i dont know how long, i mean yeah sabu was put in squash matches as punishment, but vince knew that if he fired him soo early into this shitty ecw extravaganza, fans would be pissed. now knowing that in your heads, do you really think hes going to just up and fire jeff hardy if it isnt drugs? no, because he is vveeerrry well loved by fans all over the world and that would just piss the fans off. and didnt it just say something about him being hurt?

If the case is Jeff being suspended for immature behavior then ya know what that's on his head. If your being an idiot backstage to the point where you get suspended then it's on your head. Same thing went for Orton when he was suspended, he messed up, but it seems now that he has improved his behavior ten fold. If Jeff did in fact get suspended it will certainly be interesting to see how his behavior is upon his return. Again looking at the Orton situation... Look where it has him... If Jeff is in fact injured, then I wish him a speedy recovery

orton was suspended for his behavior, then he destroyed a hotel for over $30,000 worth of damage, he wasnt suspended for that and now they are giving him the title at summerslam. he didnt change after being suspended, it was because they made him pay the damages to the hotel.

as for jeff, until wwe.com posts a message saying something i'm not believing he's suspended or fired.

Man, what a mess this situation is. I'm not going to believe anything until I get some hard facts about this. First it's a no-show, then it's an injury, now it's "lack of maturity". What the heck is that in the first place? I guess we'll have to see what happens. I hope all the best for Jeff whatever the case is.

Thats a pretty good point. I never thought of that, but this could be the set up for a new gimmick and WWE wanted infomation leaks to create more hype about him. he could possibly be in line for a push? nt a major one, but a one that brings him quite high up

I have always thought that with the right writing team, that the matt and jeff hardy setup could do do a rescript of the bret owen feud from 10 years ago... most younger wrestling fans don't know about any of that, imagine some of the matches, that the two brothers could get into... Both really have the fans behind them... it could be awesome.

Jeff hardy is huge with most Non-IWC fans. Jeff had 2 chances. Orton had 3, and wasted his chances worse than Jeff wasted his. If they fire Jeff over this, and award Orton with the Title, somthing is really screwed up backstage. and I hope the media pickes up on that little titbit and uses it against them. If Orton can get chance after chance, even when he has legit backstage and fan heat, while Jeff has major Faceness with the fans, It just wouldn't make sence to fire Jeff. Suspend him, don't fire him.

its called the power of sticking your head up HHH's backside. Orton will never get int hot water for screwing up, cos HHH loves him and see's him as the future, same as Vince see's Cena, though as far as we all know, Cena aint screwed up yet

i thought jeffs matches were entertaining but not great.Even though he gets a huge pop when he comes out i think wwe could do without him its time we got some new midcarders for the IC belt because were all sick and tired of seeing the same guys going for the belt. Jeff,Umaga,Marrella i think these are the only three guys that have fought for the title in the past 5 monthes so i say let em go. hell he aint that important to the show

if its a cover up, its a good one. but it could just be he had the week off to recover. guess we will find out monday night

It saddens and greatly disappoints me that Jeff Hardy will be absent from the WWE for the next month or so. Nonetheless, I am happy that Jeff isn&#8217;t suffering from a serious injury as has plagued so many wrestlers recently. The WWE could have certainly utilized Jeff&#8217;s services during these challenging times and no one can dispute the fact that Jeff&#8217;s individual popularity wasn&#8217;t building toward an all time high if it wasn&#8217;t already there. Everyone is human and as the old saying goes &#8220;to err is human&#8221; but the timing of these unfortunate circumstances are extremely untimely. The &#8220;good news&#8221; if one chooses to look for some positive in this situation is that Jeff will be back in time, as I understand it, and he will have an opportunity to still make a big impact in the WWE and then move continuously in a positive direction in his career and finally live his dream of becoming the superstar he was meant to be.

So I guess that takes the injury out of it, and this is probably more than likely, a drug related issue.

Now, if it's steroids and the WWE is covering it up, then shame on them and shame on their wellness program. In light of the Benoit situation and the bad press, it should be zero tolerance for anyone, and that means if the Undertaker test for it, then say good bye.

More then likely though, it's private and the WWE isn't saying anything, so I'm guessing it's recreational drugs showing up in his system. I know people have their opinion on this situation, but if it is marijuana or something, it is a bannable drug, despite if you think it is okay. Hopefully for Hardy's sake, he can kick whatever habit he has.
