I've found the missing avatars!

Turns out when the new avatars were uploaded they were uploaded to WrestleZone.com instead of forums.wrestlezone.com. Thus when WZ changed its servers, the avatars were lost in the process.

Can I do anything about this? No, but at least we know now.

I was going to bring this question up yesterday, but no need to now.

What I don't understand is why we can't get the custom avatar feature fixed. That can't be very hard to fix, can it?

It's been disabled by the guys at the top. I guess it's a case of server space.

We can move them about (category wise) and delete them, but that's it.

Nah, it's more about laziness really, if I had to guess. If it was server space, we wouldn't be able to have custom sig banners. Those are far larger in size. Besides, linking to custom avatars doesn't really require much strain on the server.

It's been a while since I've played with it, and I delete it recently so I can upload it on a different computer...

...but isn't there a place where you can redirect the link to different folders?

Can you redirect the path, to point to the folder? I'm guessing the folder name would be the same, but the path would be different. The question is what the path would be, or if it would even be on the same server.

I'mk sure he can. But, instead of him taking the time to figure it all out, you'd know right away whether it could get done or not. We rarely, if ever, agree around here, but I can't deny that you're a bit of a computer whiz. The kind of person that should have their grubby self-loving paws all over the Admin CP.

It's the same, it's just hosted on wrestlezone.com instead of forums.wrestlezone.com.

The problem is they've been deleted when wrestlezone.com migrated servers.

Easiest option would be to PM atomiconline. I'll get on it.

When you do that, also ask if it would be possible to give me access to the forum server folder, like through an FTP client or something. Because that would rule. And we could get things done.
