I've Decided Who I'm Backing Through The WZ Tournament

Aside from getting John Tenta as far as possible in the tourney, I now know who I'm pushing to win the damn thing. Actually, I'm being greedy and picking two guys. You see, I'm disgusted by how many contemporary "legends" made it so far last year. And if you ask me, this year is going to be the year of old school. So allow me to introduce you to the men I will back to the ends of the Earth.

I expect everyone to announce their resignations in this thread here.

Anyway, this year, I'm out to eliminate all of the "contemporary legends" which don't even belong anywhere near the elite eight of the WZ Tourney. RVD, Jericho, and Edge all getting to the elite eight is laughable at best. It's time we get off the balls of these guys. and recognize the true legends of wrestling. I will happily be the first to say that Harley Race is better than all the guys mentioned, and that Andre would crush each of these men.

Actually, if X, Lariat, or Gelgarin are watching, I'd like to propose a phase out of all these guys from last year. Simply enough, I'm willing to back The Funker, Hansen, and Thesz if you're willing to back my guys.

DiBiase was my guy two years ago and last year I really didn't participate in the backing of anyone. I'm thinking about bringing back the Million Dollar Campaign. Either him or Jake Roberts, not sure who I want to give my backing too. Though Tenta I will give you some help with Race, dude was just awesome.

I can only hope there's more credit given for the old school. The fact that Harley was an eight seed last year is a joke, even Andre as a twelve seed is legitmate bullshit. I'm not one to call mods and admins noobz, but seriously, is there one voice that will speak out against vince Mcmahon's glossed over version of history?

As always, you're a clasy man, Theo. I can agree on DiBiase, as he was an outstanding wrestler in the NWA, and perhaps a better character in the WWE. his most damning factor is that he was never WWE Champion. Though he was NWA National Heavyweight Champion, which is good enough for me, really

Last year I couldn't get him past 'Taker, but hopefully with a big push in TNA around the time the tournament roles around, and 'Taker taking his break like usual, that should help me this year if that match roles around again.

JMT, I was going to give my debate for Sting, and set up a reasoning behind sting beating Taker, but wound up going on vacation. This year, I'll back Sting to get at least to the Elite Eight. I feel he at least deserves that. However, I will not vote him against these men;
