That was not an heel turn. Not in a million years. He said he was going to beat The Undertaker and he did that clean. How's that a villain? He said what he's been saying for months. The commentators protect them still and defend him because "this crowd is always crazy". C'mon, it's not hard. He's still a babyface like John Cena is.
Where do people get off thinking villains can only win dirtily? That's ridiculous. He retired the Undertaker knowing he would be hated. He came out, gets Shut The Fuck Up chants, and only says it's his yard now, and you still think he's playing the good guy? How does one logically argue that he's a babyface when everybody hates him right now? He didn't say anything to even try to smooth over the ire of the crowd, something John Cena did all the time. Comparing him to John Cena is beyond ridiculous at this point. Nothing about him tonight cries babyface.
This is fairly simple.

It wasn't a heel turn.
DAYUM! Revival get a clean win over New Day in their debut.
If you seriously think that was an heel turn you'll be miserable for months to come. Wrestling may have evolved but the core of storytelling will always maintain and Roman Reigns is a babyface. He does the "right" thing. The "superman", "good guy", "hero" thing. He won against The Undertaker and right after it, in his interview he goes and says: "I had to do that for my family. I didn't want to do it. It's beating a wounded warrior but I am a provider". What a fucking asshole for doing what he did. What a bad person and what a villain. He puts Ted Dibiase to shame, with his shtick of being wealthy and buying people and using them as he pleases.
You'll be miserable for months when you see him go against Strowman again. Unless Strowman is a good guy. Beating people up because he just wants too. What a role model.
Care to explain your reasoning, or do you need him to cuss out the crowd for you to believe it?

That was a heel thing to do. I believe they'll drop the ball, but he didn't do damage control, so why should I believe he's a babyface?
Enzo is the only person who can make Kurt seem sane by comparison.
Angle asking Enzo how he's doin was amazing.
Well to be honest Kevin Owens is a heel and that's the reason he wants to win the title, so he can provide for his wife and kids any means necessary. Goldberg does the same thing and he's a face. So it's an excuse than can be used by both sides it would appear.
