Is Ziggler too "pretty"?

Okay so now that Ziggler is "fired" from Smackdown I was thinking about if he comes to Raw or after a couple months comes back to Smackdown. Then I had this idea have the GM of Raw revealed to be Vickie Guerrero, yes it would be strange but WWE doesnt care about that.

Then she can come out and say that her first act as GM is to rehire Ziggler. Ziggler can then come out with BLACK HAIR instead of the pretty boy blonde. He can come out and say the reason he has been held back is because he was a pretty boy, but now he doesnt care about his looks and all he wants is the title. The black hair could make Ziggler more "evil" and "unforgiving" in the ring. His personality could also be more aggressive same with his mic skills.

Do you think this would work?
Would you rather him debut this look on Raw or Smackdown?

No, I wouldn't want him to die his hair to me he looks like a cross between Mr. Perfect and Ravishing Rick Rude and the pretty boy look really worked well for them. If Ziggler were to die his hair I think it would only hurt his career, being compared to Perfect and Rude can only be viewed as a good thing and going away from that imo would hurt his future.

Dolph's already risen to the top of the Smackdown roster and changing his image at this point would hurt more then anything as he's already over with his current look and attitude.

However if he were to change his image I would prefer him to do it on Samackdown as the Raw main event scene is current filled with the likes of The Miz, John Cena, Randy Orton, Cm Punk, John Morrison and the returns of The Rock, Triple H and the Undertaker I just can't see him getting much time on Raw if he were to jump ship.

I agree with prince, his gimmick does attract a likeness to mr perfect but he pulls it off well. If anything, I would like to him come back a lot meaner so that he can drop off Vicki and retain some intense heat. You can't ever really see him as a face though can you? Btw Moiz, it's 'too' pretty not 'to' ;D

Ziggler is great the way he is, doesn't need to change his appearance or say he "doesn't care about looks" anymore. If you follow him on Twitter it's even more hilarious to see that he's always pretty arrogant about his looks. I think he should continue to play off of that instead of going the other direction with it.

No, I think there have been plenty of other "pretty boys" before him that have had success. Shawn Michaels was nicknamed The Heartbreak Kid, and he was supposed to be the one superstar that made all the female fans swoon, and he'll go down as one of the greatest superstars ever. I'm not saying that Dolph Ziggler is the next Shawn Michaels or anything, but being a pretty boy doesn't necessarily mean you can't be tremendously successful.

Yeah this is kind of absurd. The guy was just at the highest point his career has ever gotten too. What with feuding over the World Heavyweight Championship and even technically getting a recognized reign out of it. So of course, we have to change his gimmick now. That makes no sense.

First of all, does anyone really think it's a good idea to move him to Raw? He was just making strides as a potential Main Eventer, now we want him to go to Raw where has absolutely no chance whatsoever at getting anywhere close to that?

Furthermore, if Vickie was actually the Raw GM the whole time, why would she even give a shit that Teddy fired her? Shouldn't she have just been like, "Oh well."

Honestly, there's just no point to all of this.

Ziggler was on a roll and I'm sure he'll be back in no time. He was THE top heel on Smackdown! before he left, a gimmick change at this moment would be a step back don't you think?

Nooooooooooooooooo. I like his look. He looks like a smaller version of Psycho Sid Viscous. He's been doing fine with it. No need to change something as small as that. Just because you dye your hair doesn't mean something in your personality changes. Dolph will be world champ again. I think he just needs to get over without Vickie. Dolph could EASILY turn face after this as well because Vickie ratted him and everything. He could say he was just with her because he wanted more out of his career and she was a great way to get there. I wouldn't turn him though. He's already an semi-established heel. No need to change ANYTHING besides possibly dropping Vickie.

I like Ziggler's character. If he goes to RAW, I'm interested to see how he does without Vicki...or maybe they'll bring Vicki with him. Her heel heat has been huge for his character.

He really reminds me of a cross between Mr. Perfect and Jeff Jarrett... which is a fantastic combination. He looks like a classic '90s heel in the present day. So yeah, to answer the question, I think his look is just fine and should stay how it is. Now, his mic skills obviously need some work if he wants to be a top heel in the company someday, but I think he's very close to breaking through to the top. His in-ring work has proven to be main event material in his most recent program with Edge as well.

So let me see if I understand this correctly. Over the course of the past 7 months or so, especially the last few, Dolph Ziggler takes his career to the next level by doing exactly what he's geen doing: being over with the crowd, which he's been able to do for a while with or without Vickie, showcasing himself in great matches, showing solidified compotence on the mic and holding his own in a feud with a legitimate main eventer and World Champion. So since what the WWE has been doing with him since he won the IC title has obviously worked, why would they possibly want to change anything?

There's nothing wrong with Ziggler's current look, style or personality. I wouldn't mind seeing Dolph Ziggler go to Raw at some point, but now probably isn't the best time because he'd probably just get swallowed up in all the build up for WrestleMania. After all, various sites are reporting that Raw tonight will primarily be focusing on Triple H's return and continued build for The Miz vs. John Cena, probably more Punk vs. Orton stuff and maybe moving a little forward with some other matches for the event. WWE is advertising that Stone Cold Steve Austin will be on next week's episode of Raw in Dallas, Texas, etc.

Vickie being named as Raw GM is a possibility though I don't think it'll happen. It would render the entire firing angle that they did with her on SmackDown! just this past Friday as being a huge waste of time and energy. Plus, the payoff just wouldn't be up to snuff. People have been asking who will ultimately be named as the Raw GM since the angle began and having Vickie fill that role would be something of a let down.

No way. Ziggler is perfect the way he is. I WOULD like them to drop Vickie as his manager and let him work on the mic by himself. He's decent on the mic for such a young guy and really doesn't need Vickie. The heat she garnered with him was good though.

He really needs a better finisher to really make the next step. The Zigzag usually looks sloppy and botched. His look works really well for him. Having Vicki at his side creating massive heat doesn't hurt either.

I think the blondness works for him. I don't think Ziggler needs any change at all. When he comes over to RAW, he should pick up right where he left off. Even though he came up on the short end of the stick in his feud with Edge, he got close and that is saying something. This guy is going to make it big off his ability alone and his gimmick doesn't hurt. I feel that it works for him.

I don't think that his problem is being too pretty. Therefore, I think him coming out with black hair would only hurt him. His bleach blond hair is one of the things that allows him to stand out.

So, I wouldn't want him to debut the look on either show. I've heard that Raw might be the show that he ends up on, but regardless of where he goes, he should keep his look. He's just getting his feet on the ground now and I don't think changes in character would be the best move for him now.

He just needs to be allowed to take the final steps.
