Is this the end of Vladmir Kozlov & The Great Khali?

The Next One
Wow, after being defeated by two all time greats, Kozlov has left WWE television. He's not longer wrestling, no promos, no nothing! He's gone, finished, and old news.

Great Khali has become a great joke..he was the punjabi giant to world champ and now has an occupation of french kissing incredible ugly girls..

Will these two be released right after Wrestlemania? Im gonna say yes to Khali but I think Kozlov might have a shot again. (I can only hope he gets a minor change in his gimmick)

I think Kozlov will be allowed to stick around. He prob hasn't been on tv lately just becuase he isn't part of Wrestlemania but I suspect he will resurface soon after. The WWE has put too much effort into trying to get him over to just give up this early. Though Kozlov would need to start improving or at least show signs of it because it isn't working for him so far.

As for Khali, I think his days could be numbered. His knees are obviously shot and as a comedy character I don't find him entertaining ..he was better as a monster heel imo. I heard they only keep him around because of his following in India which obv is good marketing for WWE but when they get fed up with him, it's by bye for Khali i think.

Khali won`t stay around too long...his WWE run was always going to be a short one.
Kozlov...he`ll stay, they`l (over) push him only to realize he ain`t getting any heat. Incredibly boring guy imo.

Khali won't be released 4 ages. Think about: global recession, WWE start cutting back and release Khali, they would lose intrest from India. There are over 1 billion people in India and it's still growing, why would d WWE release such a valuable marketing tool in d middle of global economic meltdown

Kozlov won't be released soon, he hasn't been on tele for a while as he has no storyline. But if he starts losing reguallry and jobbing after WM then he'll be gone before 2010

If Khali doesn't get fired, he should quit, because WWE probably won't use him for much more than monster jobbing and comedy anymore. I mean, I guess it's a nice easy way to get paid, but he's been in a bunch of movies in somewhat decent sized roles, especially for a dude who's English isn't so great.

Kozlov will also probably be allowed to stick around, and I bet he has a feud or two left in him, but unfortunately, he's on the same show as someone with almost the exact same gimmick, Umaga. I think Kozlov will get put on ECW to feud with one of their young faces and put them over.

i say after the draft we will see more of kozlov. he will prob get drafted to ecw nd become ecw champion. as far as khaili i think he will get release by summer time

kahli will stay on the wwe roster and probly end up with ecw because his posibilities as a marketing tool is too good. The only way he will be rleased if they sign another indian guy and push himm to the stars, isnt sanja dutt indian.

As for Koslov i think sadly hes going to be the top heel on smackdown for years sadly, since all to heels will be draftd away

Khali will stay around becuase of his universal draw, as the man who only likes wwe for taker said. He has no reason to quit either, but health wise I've heard that he doesn't have much time left in actual wrestling. So WWE should capitalize on him before he's forced to retire. I would like to see another heel push with him being champion and remaining champion for a longer period of time. WWE is afraid to give guys a chance, but if Khali works on his move ability and goes back to being the dominate giant, he can have another title run before he's done.

Kozlov should be in the match against Undertaker, and I'd go as far as saying that if anyone should beat Undertaker at Wrestlemania (this year), it should've been Kozlov, at least IN the match. Unfortunately it's a gamble and WWE doesn't like doing that, and Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker sells better than Kozlov vs Undertaker. I like the ECW move, and if he's successful there, I would love to see Kozlov vs Undertaker again, and perhaps hvae Kozlov end the streak. Kozlov had the unfortunate timing of wrestling after the Cold War, so the "big scary Russian" gimmick doesn't work, but he is strong and technically talented, so a few adjustments could make him a nice addition to the future of WWE.

They should release Khali because it doesn't look like his body can take anymore. His legs look shot. It may be more of a retirement than a release though.

For Kozlov, creative dropped the ball with this guy by trying to push him to the moon right away. They need to regroup, not release him. He needs a manager. He needs a short ugly Russian manager to come out and wave a flag around in the air and cut promos on how great Kozlov is and how proud Russia is of him. End of story. Kozlov will be so over it won't even be funny. Get him out of fighting main eventers, and give him a US Title push. It would make for great television.

did lokicobain just say kozlov is technicly talented??? HBK couldnt even have a good match with him... he has got to be one of the least talented wrestlers on the roster im glad he is on tv right now because he was a definite waste of time. he needs atleast a year of training before they shoud even think about giving him another push like they gave him in the last year.

I think I read that Khali has been doing some film-making since December and doing publicity work at the moment, he wasn't able to be written into Wrestlemania and I think he's due back.

Like many have said, Khali has a big backing in India, why would WWE drop an asset to get coverage in other countries?

As for Koslov, don't know, don't care. Overhyped stiff worker, I think he knows less moves than Khali!

No offense to anyone who likes these guys, but didn't Vince Mcmahon learn a lesson from hiring Heidenrich, Nathan Jones, and Matt Morgan? These were all big guys who couldn't draw a crowd at a "boring" convention. Khali is dull in the ring. His acting is much better and it is sub par at that. His wrestling is limited to throws slams and brain chops, while they are effective, they are just boring to watch over and over. When he was a heel, he did draw major heat unlike Koslov. But that just isn't enough. He doesn't have much of a future left in the WWE, although he is a major draw in India and they have a massive population, so his international draw will likely keep him in the WWE for quite a while. But his knees will likely give out one day and he will no longer be able to wrestle. He will be put out to pasture some time in the next 2 years.
I don't see the WWE needing Koslov at all in the near future. He will probably come back and win one or two matches, then Vince will realize pushing him is a big mistake because of his absolute mind numbingly boring wrestling consisting of nothing but a useless body lock and a repetitive headbutt that should have been banned for Chris Benoit's sake, and not being able to draw enough heat to light the inside of a dark closet, he will be future endeavored by the WWE.
Those are my:twocents:

Kozlov got a push, got some significant wins, brushed with some titles and now returns to earth. He will probably go through some "paying dues" period where he learns how to work better and gets a little more of a dynamic element to his character. Plus, I agree with JGlass14 in that he should probably get away from Umaga until his character can grow some. But it isn't like he got beat by some jobber, mid-carder, or even top-mid-carder. The list is short: Taker, Michaels, HHH. He still has enormous credibility. He just needs to be a little more dynamic.

If you are looking for Kozlov to start doing technical stuff or moonsaults or whatever, forget it. He may add some basic wrestling moves but his style is what makes him unique. He is an in-your-face, kick-the-crap-out-of-you heel who doesn't need to cheat to win. His offense isn't meant to be pretty. He is meant to be a brutish monster which he does. But like I said, there needs to be a little tweaking to his arsenal, develop more match psychology, and a little persona. Otherwise, he won't be too far behind Khali.

Well if Khali does get released then thats proof that Vinnie Machas lost the plot because as someone stated earlier, in a global recession, thats just plain stupid.

India is a massive growth market for the WWE, and the way he is portrayed in India is that hes basically a huge star of the company.

The Asian market was somewhere the E wanted to break into and stay there, so why fire a guy that is keeping intrest high there? You think Cena can do it? Go to India and ask who they want to see win a match, Cena vs Khali. You will be hard pressed to find someone saying Cena.

Kozlov deserves to go, Ive seen far better go for a lot less, he's gotten a bigger push and is worse in the ring that guys such as Mordecai/Thorn, Sean O'Haire, Elijah Burke and rhyno. Those 4 names are just as marketable as a silent russian who looks like hes been trained by a mokey. Kozlovs look isnt even that imposing to me, not when you have guys like Kane, Taker, Show, Khali and Umaga. At the moment im more impressed with Ezikiel Jackson.
