Is The Rock Getting Stale?

I bet ppl like you have the same kind of thought when the rock was a regular during attitude era. Didnt he do the same back in the day when he use numerous catchphrases in every promo?
The fact that those of you who considered him stale and criticize him are the same people that highly praises, day and night with numbers of thread, about ziggler, barette, shamemus, swagger and other mediocre midcarder that dont have a cent of the rock charisma.

It is funny how people would find any flaws of the rock and yet, they wont do the same with the current midcard talent of the wwe.
If the rock cant satisfy you moron, then i strongly recommend you ppl dont watch wrestling anymore. This is why Vince doesn't listen to IWC because they dont appreciate anything.

He's insanely stale. I'm glad he's back. His catchphrases are over. It's funny, it makes his fans look like idiots. He no shows, only does promos via satellite, doesn't wrestle, just talks fast and says catchphrases. Cena calls him out on his bullshit and for making more kiddy shit and crappy comedies than Cena himself does and all the rock responds with is "whoop your monkey ass if ya smell".

My girlfriend, who doesn't follow as much asked if the Rock was supposed to be a dellusional character because of how much he rambles and jumps into catchphrases and really doesn't respond to what the other characters are saying.

That said I'm still glad he's back. I think they're being super smart with him and kind of making him a heel. I think eventually his promo style and him saying "i love the fans" but never being there and Cena pointing it out and continually being classy with things like "yea I lost to Miz but you have to do what you have to do and I just lost" will eventually make more people resent the Rock and realize just how much Cena gives and respect Cena.

Rock entertains me in the same way a heel does. It's good stuff what's going on.

Cena never called anyone out on bullshit, Last week he told the Rock that he had no right to judge him, even though Cena started the entire feud by judging the Rock back in 2008. Cena is the ultimate hypocrite. The Rock doesn't show up or wrestle BECAUSE THE WWE DOESN'T SIGN HIS PAYCHECKS ANYMORE. Seriously, I love people that complain about how the Rock doesn't wrestle, but who the hell wants the Rock to stick around until he's 50 or 60 like Hogan and Flair?

The Rock made the right move by leaving the WWE, He did all there was to do and moved on to a successful acting career, and did so right on time since the WWE was turning into a shit sundae and the Rock would of been the cherry on top. People think that Cena would never leave the WWE, But when the opportunity to make 5x as much money without the road schedule and injury risk comes up, temptation reveals it's ugly head. Thankfully, no one would ever want Cena so he'll never have that opportunity.

Just be glad that Cena caught a lucky break with the Rock and Austin leaving, otherwise Cena would of been stuck on the mid card for most of his career.

Wow, Are you serious. This always happens first cenas 5 moves of doom: the guys works his ass off and he sells and does moves pretty good. Granted hes not the best In ring technician but his pretty damn good I know I'll get eaten up for that :). Second The miz is overrated: really?....really this kid has worked his ass off to get where he is from real world to being thrown out of locker rooms to being on the edge of release and no one believing in him to becoming champion and having a good run to defeating John fucking cena at mania and in a feud with the rock, they have invested in him and it paid off completely he is the leader of the youth movement and he deserves it. And now the rock is stale? ITS THE FUCKING
ROCK the IWC is never happy the E is doing everything right with the exception to the corre and the rock is only helping that he can never get stale every body was On the edge of there seats waitig for the great one to return to return and now that he has and obviously will be for much longer then we thought he is getting stale? Thank god a few people I'm this thread and Im these forums agree with me and can be pleased unlike these people who just want more the E gives you a hand you want an arm. So no the rock is and will never get stale this Isnt hulk hogan who is past his prime the Rock is young and in better shape then ever and appears to haven't lost a step besides the fail hip up he tried last week on raw lol the rock will never get stale.
Thata just my two sence:)

I don't think the Rock is stale at all. This is who he is and has always been. He makes fun of his opponents, belittles them, and then he finally gets in the ring with them and win or lose, there is always a great match. The only difference in this case is he hasn't done it in the ring and the fans are used to seeing both the smack talk and the action. His catchphrases are the same as they always were and they include small jabs depending on who he's talking about. Since Cena has been the focus, all you hear is the fruitty pebble, homeless power ranger, etc that is referring to Cena. If he is to stay around and focus on someone else then you would hear differently. That's why it seems "stale". He's been feuding with Cena for almost 2 months now and you've heard more talking than you have seen action. I am of the opinion that im a fan of the whole stiuation, because I know Rock won't be there week after week, but when he is there, it's great tv. Look at the ratings and you can figure that out. If you think it's stale and the Rock should stay away, turn it on something else until the Rock leaves.

Exactly cena called him out in 2008 and now cena cries about being judged? Cena is pathetic. Being hard working means nothing when you're pathetic on the mic and in the ring.

Rock has his ups and rarely downs, hes admitted it himself. Hes not a god so his promos arent always great nut when hes good hes untouchable. He was clearly a league ahead in the attitude era and comparing pg era with him is a joke.
