Is Khali back because of TNA's Ra Ka King promotion?

Burning Hammaaaaah!!!
Being an Australian, I know all about how much money is in India when it comes to their sports... their cricket and their IPL is big money over there. It is indeed an amazing market that TNA has tapped into... even one of their best cricketers was on their most recent show (which you can view from the front page)

Did WWE see this and bring not only Khali back to action but immediately put him in the SD Elimination Chamber???

I find it quite interesting, and kudos to TNA for Ring Ka King.

Ra Ka King? Advanced man, advanced editing.

OK, first of all there could be some gravity to this because Khali is way more popular than the Ring Ka King. However one brilliant move by the Indian promoters is that they are incorporating a very popular cricket star in this and it will only help their ratings.

But TNA is doing a bucket load to enhance their global appeal. From what I hear their UK show did a great gate and their foray into the Indian scene could really wok. Khali could be a way for WWE to keep their ground in India but I don't really think they are that concerned about TNA's global expansion.

Personally I am not buying that, I mean it makes sense that WWE may be trying to counteract it but the people in WWE are not stupid, TNA goes into India with an entirely new brand, the Ring Ka Ring, brings in not only some of their own talent, but talent from India as well and WWE counters with....one person? It just doesn't compute to me.

Yes...I dont think it's a pure coincidence. They even spent a Raw segment with Orton centered around Khalil.

Ra Ka King is a creative idea by TNA, trying to go into an untapped market for them. Khalil is supposedly a big draw in India. Putting him back on tv is Vince's way of answering Ra Ka King.

I dont think its a big concern for Vince. But I'm sure he doesnt want Ra Ka King becoming very successful and possibly taking $$$ away from the WWE, in a market.
