Instead of a Program of Daniel Bryan/Sheamus

Occasional Pre-Show
WWE is supposedly planning another program of Daniel Bryan & Seamus to have Seamus go heel. Since it's not really a fresh program I rather see something different.

After reading an interview with Dean Ambrose and watching him on Raw, how great would it be if Dean Ambrose turned heel and had a program with Daniel Bryan. It would be a fresh program, gives Ambrose a great rub by working with Bryan and possibly regain the steam he once had. I also think these guys would put on great matches as both put there body on the line.

Thoughts on this program or discuss who you would rather see Bryan have a program with.

Well, I'd still like to see them have a feud toward next year's WrestleMania. You know how The Rock and Austin had 2 'Mania matches in which Rock lost a title to him both times, only to come out victorious in the third? I know it's not quite the same scenario but that's kind of what I'd want to see with Bryan/Sheamus. As for post-'Mania this year, I don't care which of them turns heel but I would kill to see Ziggler and Bryan have a best-of series for the IC title.

Yes, it could really work. But Dean just had turned into face. Its been more or less just barely one year since Dean had turned into face. And he's having a good fan support. Obviously in the current WWE roster there are lots of Heels than the faces and even if there were been faces, they're mostly getting buried or put up into bad story lines. So, I wouldn't want him to be turn into a heel..

And also Sheamus had no reaction from the crowd when he was a face in his last run. He was feuding against one of the Top heel of the company and yet had no crowd support from him. It will seem to be logical if he turns against the fans who never cheered him and missed him and ignored him when he was injured. If he cut a good promo about it he can turn into a reliable heel to feud with Daniel Bryan..

Cheers!!

Thats not a feud that excites me much. I'd much rather see Daniel Bryan win the IC title and defend it in a meaningful feud with Dolph Ziggler. The feud could be booked by it being a Daniel Bryan who has won the IC title for the first time against Dolph Ziggler who is one of the best IC champions of the past few years. This would be a simple feud with no shocking heel turn or usage of dirty tactics but rather a battle of the better champion.

Dean Ambrose should turn heel and go straight after John Cena, who would be US champion. I highly doubt Cena will hold the title with as much attention as he does the WWE title so he'll probably drop it soon after. Dean would turn heel and say he stood by Cenas side every step of the way after the Shield broke up but Cena has done nothing to help him. He says he deserves to be a legend, not someone who pampers to the people and falls down the card. His rise to be a legend will start by beating Cena forbthe US title.

Bryan-Ambrose will approach at some point for sure but at this time, what makes sense is Bryan-Sheamus or Bryan-Ziggler. Bryan has a career rival in Sheamus and Ziggler as a friendly foe. As has been mentioned, Ambrose hasn't had a face run as he should have before turning heel. He needs 1 more year as a face with some meaningful victories. He has barely been a face for about 1 rough year and what has he accomplished? Back to back losses from Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt. I think he needs an Intercontinental Title Run and victories over the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus etc. in order to turn heel. It makes zero sense for a Dean Ambrose heel turn as of now. The guy is getting great reactions and he is NOT underutilised. One should have a midcard title run before getting in the quest for World Championship. Though, Bryan-Ambrose will be an entertaining feud but, its not the correct time to pull it out. Speaking of Ziggler, this is the guy who should be the opponent for Daniel Bryan post WrestleMania 31. Bryan-Ziggler is the feud that the fans are actually digging for. The pairing has had some awesome matches and they should raise the stakes by inserting the IC Championship on the line. This feud will surely deliver. And, this is the perfect time to pull out this if Sheamus is to be involved in other programme. Both guys being incredible wrestlers and performers can deliver a great outing. I would never mind seeing best of three series for the IC Championship in Bryan-Ziggler.
After Sheamus returns which will probably be as a heel, there is no other choice except Bryan for him to feud with. They have some backstory which can help building the tension. They are completely different from what they were 4 years ago. They can also offer a great match because it has not become stale like Cena-Orton. But, I'm okay with Bryan-Sheamus and have no problem with it.

I like Bryan wins ic title and defend it through summerslam. john cena wins us title and defend it through summerslam. at summerslam unify the title where Bryan wins and retire us title. bring back whc title. make brand spilt and bring more main event stories with Bryan.

It's the recent changes in direction of some wrestlers that makes this a tough call.

I figured Sheamus coming back and immediately engaging Daniel Bryan would be a bad idea because if Sheamus is returning as a heel, it would seem prudent to let him run roughshod over his initial opponents, and it doesn't seem that management wants Daniel to be run over.

Or do they? He's been beaten cleanly by Dolph Ziggler twice, and I'm starting to wonder if Bryan's character is finally being brought back to Earth after an amazing, sustained push. Yes, the chant goes on ("Yes!") yet there seems to be something in the air.....especially since his loss at Fast Lane to Roman Reigns..... and if it's so, Sheamus might be a prime candidate to clean Danny's clock.

The other choice mentioned in this thread is Dean Ambrose. If he turns heel, it would seem a good program to pair him with Daniel. After all, what was that business last night on Raw when referee Dean Ambrose belted good guy Dolph Ziggler after declaring him the winner of the match? Where in hell did that come from?

Especially with the "lunatic" angle, Dean always seems to be 3 inches away from a heel turn. If it happens, a series against Daniel Bryan would seem ideal, whether one of them becomes IC champion on Sunday, or not.

In reality, Lesnar(split reaction), Triple H, Rollins and Rusev are the only heels that really mean anything. There are too many faces that are being booked incorrectly, that someone needs to turn heel. Ambrose has become stagnant in his face run, he is the perfect person to turn.

Ziggler is the second biggest face, so Sheamus could still get over as a heel against him.

The only hang up I have here is the turning of Ambrose. I think it's too soon because with his personality if they get into the habit of flip-flopping him (a la Big Show) back and forth it could be a black mark on his career. I DO think however that they could have a very good feud following Mania in a face/face dynamic. A good chunk of their rabid fan base are indy fans who are used to seeing guys go at it despite their social stigman in the locker room and I think it would be a welcomed feud by the fans considering it's intent is to highlight the importance of the IC title with work horse wrestlers; what the title represented in it's heyday. DB/Sheamus save for the summer and give Sheamus time to build up his heel heat. Have him come out after a 30 minute Iron Man match between DB/Ambrose at Extreme Rules or MITB and tear DB limb from limb, possibly the same to Ambrose and set up a feud for those two after DB.

It would be different. The mic work by Ambrose as a heel would definitely be great. Ambrose could use the heel turn. He's pretty much peaked as a midcard face.
