Impact Support Club House

Oh man, came across this article on Facebook. Apparently NXT shows are being taken over the way TNA shows used to, by obnoxious crowds that go into business for themselves?

http://www.workofwrestling.com/wowblog/2015/11/19/lets-be-smarter-a-message-for-nxt-fans

That sucks. I was livid years back and the "crucial crew" were doing that in the Impact Zone. I still remember how absurd it was when they turned their back on Val Venis and Chris Daniels. I mean, fuck, I wanted nothing to do with Venis in TNA either, but show some fucking respect. That's clearly not the best situation to protest.

This is something that you hear about a lot but it's not that bad yet.

That chant they're talking about with HEY WE WANT SOME BAYLEY is indeed cringeworthy and the worst they've ever done.

Some of them on the other hand are so creative they're hilarious. For instance, there's a guy named Blake with blonde hair. His chant: "Come on Blakey let's go party."

For a squash match: "LET'S GO JOBBER!" etc.

It hasn't gotten to the point where they're turning their back on people etc. It can be annoying, but some of the chants make me laugh. Also, when NXT is on fire, they're some of the best fans around because they LOVE these wrestlers.

It's the way it sounds. Instead of something quick it's drawn out like

Heeeeeeyy we want some Baaaaaaaaaylay!

And they'll do it about ten times in a row.

It's during her matches only. Everyone else has their own chants.

This one is just annoying. It's one of those things you have to hear yourself to get it. I like most of them but this one drives me crazy.

It doesn't help that its from a song that originally wrote "Hey we want some pussy" chanted at a role model for girls.

The love for Chad Gable is amazing though.

Wrestling crowds are the worst. Over here we're lucky of WWE rolls into the country once every two years AND prices are insane because of the exchange rate, because we have fucking Boss Nass and his household of 150 running the show.

Now these pimply fuckers, who see top stars on a regular basis, try to ruin the show for everybody. They don't even realise it, the shitpieces, because they're so obnoxious. I mean, it's hard to see how others feel when your head is directly up your own ass, but still.

They're like spoilt children. In fact, I wish somebody would go and corporal punish the whole lot of them.

Here's the stat to sum up TNA better than anything else.

On October 20, 2011, they had 2.01 million viewers.

This past week, they had 234,000 viewers, which was an improvement.

That's losing 88% of their viewers in four years. Think about that. Nearly nine out of ten people have stopped watching the show in four years.

What's staggering is that this business is still in operation. There is no conceivable way this company is profitable, and frankly I'm not sure it ever has been. Most fans, like myself, gave up about two or three years ago and just settled on the fact that this company was going to die, so why even waste our time following it?

India tour got cancelled too. Just fucking end it already, Jesus. They peaked five years ago and every year since has just been a steady decline. Are Dixie's parents so loaded they just don't care at all? Is Dixie this stubborn? Just the pull the plug already.

Easy to say when it's not your paycheck that stops coming, or your call to take food off the plate of your employees.

I get not cheering a company on. I don't get actively rooting for its demise.

I still don't watch WWE. But I'd rather not read tomorrow their doors are closing. Not because I dislike their product, or because I think McMahon is one of the worst things to happen to professional wrestling in history, but because those guys working there, from the camera man to the crew in Stamford, CT are human beings with children and families. They don't deserve to have the rug pulled out from under them because I, a fan, think WWE is shit.

But hey, let's not let reality get in the way of some good ol' sensationalism.

Indeed but even the diehards are going away. 88% is staggering.

Yeah, I'm one of them. I've watched like twelve minutes of TNA, total, in like a month. And I have no plans on watching much else before January 5th.

This whole series is just not compelling television. It's a long, drawn out, mostly boring tournament that the numbers are clearly indicating people do not care about. At least not the long, arduous road of it. Maybe they'll care about who ends up crowned the winner, but in the wrestling world, you can't expect anyone to have an attention span long enough to follow this week-by-week through to the end, on the edge of their seat the entire time.

......Dixie had zero to do with the cancellation. It was already paid for by Sony Six. It was political issues in India or something in their end.

Oh I know and the roster is killing it. People like Crazzy Steve, DJZ and Aiden O'Shea are fighting and I'm being told they might be the next World Champion. That's their draw right now? For eight shows just to get to the first round of the real tournament? They're lucky they still have over 200k watching.

I'd be really interested in seeing the advance ticket sales. Sony Six might have been paying for it, but if the house was going to have about 18 people in it, they might have thought twice about running the show. This isn't the WWC where they'll have a show with two people in attendance.

There were no ticket sales. It was all paid by Sony Six. It was gonna be free attendance from what's been said.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

And the owner would be one of them eating turnovers.

Then I'd be curious as to how many people they got to show up. A lot of free tickets were given away to the first Super Bowl and the stadium was roughly 2/3 full.

...At no point in my post did i say anything about Dixie being responsible for the tour cancellation? Didn't even imply it. Pretty clearly segued into a comment about Dixie just being clueless in general, but, you know, misread me if you'd like.
