Impact Support Club House

No, but I'm up for Anthem selling the company to Billy Corgan, and Corgan, now the owner of NWA, re-branding (yes, again), shutting it all down, and completely repackaging everything under HIS vision. Only his. No more GFW Anthem Impact Wrestling Presents Impact Global Force mumbo jumbo.

NWA. One single vision. One man's vision.

The NWA could be a fantastic idea with the current climate if done properly.

Unfortunately, it would not even remotely resemble anyone's idea of a "promotion" or what used to be your TNA.

That's OK, honestly. What used to be TNA is in a thousand pieces, and honestly, what made it TNA, by and large, has left for greener pastures.

I'm ready for something brand new, or even something old made new. I want Corgan.

09 and 10 when I watched it was legit fun and a fine alternative.

Like you said, pretty much all of it is gone now.

The way an NWA would work would be a roster of about 10 guys and 3 or 4 gals. No more than 20 total whom you paid fairly well, with a title holders bonus. You bring in big indy names to work your events, and farm your champions to headline elsewhere for a premium. The NWA champs would need to be something like Ricochet, Cody Rhodes. Young Bucks, and maybe Shayna Baszler.

It's all a work!

I honstely have no real words to say. As a fan I feel hopeless. It's just not the same anymore.

Who knew that bringing in a raft of new talent without gaining any increase in investment could lead to financial difficulties?

Could it have been the lack of improvement in the TV deal that triggered a lot of this?

Bound For Rebranding.

And probably a return to the old belts, assuming they're still around.

Seriously though, this is beyond a joke at this point and it's yet another item on the long, long list of stuff that makes them seem second rate.

That's a shame. I don't care for authority figures, but he's a great one. I wonder if they can just phase him out and maybe bring him back later on after the PPV.

It was an amicable split and he's willing to go to Nashville and film his storyline exit. A return doesn't sound impossible.

The good thing with JC is that I think he'd also be on board with the idea of a reduced role, anyway, which is what the show could use. In so many ways, these last few weeks, he's been the center of gravity for everything to revolve around. Instead, it should be the wrestlers.

So uh, the Global Wrestling Network? Is that still a thing they're doing or can we add it to the long, long, long, LONG list of things that they don't deliver on?

I think it's going to be a thing, but the problem is that they're way late in the game on it. I'm not sure they're going to gain much traction on it at all, which is dangerous given it's one of the only sources of revenue for the company.

I believe they're pulling an ROH and filming in the same place BFG takes place the day(s) after which is why Cornette called it quits with them. Problem is it'll be another marathon of TV tapings but at least it's a new crowd that wasn't forced into the building like India.
