Impact Support Club House

Apparently Jimmy Jacobs is backstage and is expected to work the tapings. There's also a rumor going that Pentagon Jr. could show up.

Unless they stopped with demanding 10% of all other earnings from the talents and making them ask permission to work anywhere else, why would talents really want to go to TNA? Basically I'm suprised at the names rumored to be going to TNA or in talks with them.

But if they get some of these people even part time there it'd be good for them.

EDIT: Santino would be useless to bring in.

Yeah I don't get it either. Is Pop TV really that big of an attraction anymore? That's far from enough to get people to show up.

It's because they have a tendency to overpay talent up front before they start running out of money to pay them, especially if you ever worked in WWE.

I'm a little intrigued by Jacobs. That's really it, though. Hoping for something chaotic to come out of these tapings that'll spark some real interest.

I don't know about tonight, but they're having to PAY ACTORS TO COME TO THE SHOWS BECAUSE THEY CAN'T FILL IN THE ARENA.

That suggests to me that they couldn't even give away tickets to the show and are offering cash to get people in. This is the same company that couldn't afford REFEREES this week and they're having to pay people to appear.

Just.....that might actually be a new low.

They have been doing the paid audience thing for years though. Maybe not to this scale, but they used to have paid plants all the time. I remember a time when it seemed every moderately attractive girl in South Florida was an Impact fan and always managed to get on camera for reaction shots.

Didn't they also pay people on the India tour and tell them who to cheer and boo?

They paid the India tour something like $5 each, which is a common thing in India. This is $50 a person a night. Also, this sounds like SEVERAL people instead of just a handful.

@Thomas_Latimer_: I've been granted my release from @IMPACTWRESTLING
Thank you to everyone from top to bottom and to you the fans for your support

What a waste. :disappointed:

Bram was one of the biggest wasted potential they had (granted his legal problems didn't help but still)

So less than a hundred people answered that casting call before the company faced such backlash they pulled the ad and made their Twitter private.

Also, the venue they are taping at has no bathrooms so they had to bring in porta-potties.

A real pity. Out of the shows I watch, Impact has had some of the better production values outside of WWE. Hell some of those edited vintage/promo's blow WWE away. Looking at that Eli in Mexico promo there. Tonto, si!

It's a well produced show and it just blows up on everyone's face like this. Often too. Hell, they pulled The LAW off the air due to Impact costing money. This show is actually making me lose things I like. What the fuck?!

So I wish I was making this up, but they had fans help set up the ring for the tapings, and apparently one of the ring posts was slanted because they had no clue what they were doing.

They can't even get the most basics right.

The bathrooms thing was known months ago when they announced they would be holding BFG there. Not sure why that's being made a big deal right now.
