iMPACT! Results on TNA's Website

First off a little background. For various reasons I cant watch Impact live (Not sure if its even available in the UK anymore/cant stay up til 1AM to watch anyway) so i usually catch up on whats been going on by watching the highlights on TNA's official website Friday morning.

However recently i've noticed that the highlights are missing out major parts of the show. For example this week Crimson/Tommy Mercer attacks
Abyss and says something about a new "They".

Did i find this out from the official TNA website? Did i fuck, i read a mention of it in a thread on these very forums, went to investigate further on the TNA website... no sign of this possibly major storyline. I had to dig around the LD and visit a certain admins review site to actually find out what the fuck happened.

This isn't the first time its happened either. The episode of impact a few weeks ago where Matt Morgan and Mr Anderson were in a tag match with 3D as the hand-picked tag partners. The highlight package showed the promo which referenced the tag match... but no video of the match or any further mention on the entire site. again i had to dig through the LD on here and look at external sites to find out what the fuck had happened.

These aren't minor storylines that don't mean much, these are big parts of major storylines that they are completely ignoring/letting slip through the cracks.

I really want to follow the storylines and keep up to date with whats happening but it seems really shoddy of TNA to not actually keep fans who cant watch Impact for whatever reason up to date on everything that has happened in an episode.

Anyone else noticed this?

I've said for months that TNA's website is poorly constructed and maintained even poorer.

I have no idea who they paid to do that job, but it's not done well enough as far as I'm concerned, especially with regard to updating their fans on the every-day-goings of the company, and certainly not with updating them post-iMPACT! episodes.

Frankly, they need to get the project in front of a real web design firm who can actually build a site that's both functional as well as aesthetically more pleasing than the "Abundance of Red" design they have right now.

Erm did you ever watch TNA in the uk. Coz dude its wa never on at 1 am. It was on the saturday at like 9/10 clock. Anyways yeah i agree tnas websites updated like once a month or some crap. And there roster section is just shocking, where WWE removes people as soon as there released tna keeps the on the website for weeks if not months after. I mean it still lists Nash,Stevie Richards and Sting who have all been released. Yet Rhino was released last week or the week before and they removed him straight away! whats up with that? its just shocking website management! i never watch the tna clips on the website because there only on for like 2 mins which is ******ed. Get a grip TNA! sort you website out!

I've only got freeview so I dont get Bravo anyway. But the point i'm trying to make is they don't have any specific section on their where the results of Impact are simply listed. It seems really unprofessional to me to have to wait a few days for impact to be aired again, or go looking on someone elses website to find out the results for their main show.

And a quick update i've been back to TNA's website and the Highlights Package does now feature the backstage segment with Abyss and Crimson

You're both missing the point. The point is that the information about the show that airs on Thursday at 9pm EST here in the States often doesn't make their website until a day later or longer, and some of the most crucial information about the show, or even relevant (not necessarily crucial) information simply isn't reported on.

From my understanding the OP was a grievance being filed on content, and it's availability, not on where he could possibly watch the show in the absence of it being on Bravo in the UK.

Bottom line is that TNA does a very, very poor job of keeping their content updated on their website, and the design of the site itself is poor to boot.

As usual, IDR hits the nail on the head. TNA's web site is poorly done and is never up to date. It looks like its being done by someone who specializes in porn sites they way they try to fit a million things on one page. I hate the video that starts by itself, especially since they have added outside commercials that you can't turn off. Then if you go back to the home page after looking at something else the fucking thing starts over again.

Take a look at the Roster page and you will still find Nash, Sting, & Richards on there. You won't find Crimson who made a major debut against Jarrett and is involved in the new "They" storyline. Jimmy Hart is on there, yes he works for the company, but when was the last time you saw him on TV?

They are still listing Reaction as one of their TV shows. As far as News is concerned, you are wasting your time going to the TNA site. What they call news is usually something on the order of "new Beer Money t-shirt now on sale". Then they wonder why fans look to the TNA Insider or TNA Wrestling News websites.

Bottom line is they need to fire whoever does that site and get someone who can keep it updated daily. The site needs to be cleaned up and made easier to navigate. And get rid of that self starting video, its annoying as hell.

have been trying to watch impact with the TNA on demand service in uk and the streaming is really bad. The Picture is really jumpy and the speech does not always tally with the actual picture but at least I still get to see it. The thing that's bothering me is the fact that I cant see the PPVs unless I pay to watch them on line. That's not really the problem but I am not going to pay to watch it on line if it is the same quality as Impact is. Im hoping that Sky will pull their finger out of their arse and put Impact on a channel so the quality is worth watching it and if I have to pay to watch the PPVs at least it would be worth it. However, I still think that they should be free as they have been before
