I'm beginning to think it might be me...

Excellence of Execution
After my time in the recent thread devoted to Glenn Gilbertti, I can't help but notice that two separate guys have now openly flamed me there. I get flamed on most forums I go to. For so long, I always just assumed it was because other people were upset at themselves for letting me make them look foolish, but now I'm starting to think that my posting style might be rubbing people the wrong way.

Is this a reasonable thought process? Am I to blame for everyone flaming me?

As stupid as I am to reply to this, yes it's a reasonable thought process, and a large amount of it yes you are, although not all of it.

Does it matter? Embrace the flaming. If they flame you, either flame back, or make them look like a fool.

I take it when someone openly attacks you in a debate it's a sign that you've pretty much owned them and reduced their principle argument to garbage, and they've got nothing left but to flame you. There basically telling you that your superior.

I've been keeping track of that thread for a while and seen your past posts. In all honesty, you may rub people the wrong way; but it really isn't your fault. You use logic and facts to backup your arguments. Mostly it is people just being defensive. You cut down their opinion pretty fast. So despite your post being valid, they stop using logic if favor of flaming you and claiming that your opinion is complete crap.

Maybe. Savage is better than Taker though.

I agree with that, and I did vote Savage. In fact, I argued against the arguments that blindly supported 'Taker. But his thread basically said "You are all stupid because you didn't vote for a retired wrestler." Doesn't really matter though, I didn't like the way the tournament went down either.

The outcome of the tournament was unimportant. It generated discussion, that was it's only purpose. If it was to decide the most important wrestler of all time it would have been a Hogan/Austin final.

I was told I was an idiot because I voted Kane over Savage based on personal choice

Although the same could be said for how poeple voted in the women's tourny. Obviosuly you didn't flame people ( I don't think anyway... ), but people may have voted according to a personal choice and you may have said that their choice logic was stupid.

You may have said got a little angry people weren't looking at your matches and voting accordingly, but nothing major. And I echo what becca said

I heard rumours of it happening didnt actualy think it had ever got going though. I probably slept through it or something.
