Brilliance In Supremacy
Getting Noticed By Management
...Who would they be? Keep in mind the skills that you'd like to acquire (in-ring, out-of-ring, business politics, etc.) and which guys can effectively teach them to you. Also, take into consideration how much people would respect you as a wrestler if they're aware of what you can do and who taught you how to do it...
Here's the five guys I'd pick...
1) Kurt Angle - He can use his amateur background to teach me good mat wrestling, he's arguably the best technician in wrestling today, and he's mastered by two favorite moves: the German Suplex and the Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex.
2) William Regal - He's one guy I've seen that is capable of doing any suplex in the book. He's a lefty, like me, so he can teach me moves from a left-handed person's perspective. Very underrated as a technician and acknowledged as Samoa Joe as, "One of the best stretchers in wrestling." Why not?
3) AJ Styles - He's arguably the most talented wrestler there is today. He's capable of wrestling in any style there is (speed, high flying, technical, etc.). He'll help me master moves involving a shooting star, a moonsault, a 450, amongst others.
4) Bryan Danielson - He is a wrestler's wrestler. I mean, who does Airplane Spins nowadays except for him? He's so old school and technically proficient that you're clapping throughout his matches.
5) Rob Van Dam - To round out my instructors, I'd have to pick the martial artist of martial artists. He continues to amaze people over a decade into his career. He'll help me with my flexibility, my kicks, and other high flying and daredevil moves...
Honorable Mention: CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Finlay, Jack Evans, Super Dragon
So...who would you guys pick to teach you the tools of the trade?
