If Rhyno Had Returned

As WWE wanted him to last year, do you think he would be recieving a decent push now? I certainly do. WWE offered him a contract to be a part of WWECW but he turned it down. That's fair eneough. But I think he would be enjoying a really good push. Everyone know that not long after the ECW show begun RVD was suspended. And in December Big Show left. And then Lashley was drafted. And everyone knows about Benoit. But I dont think that he would have been as missused as most of the originals. I really think he would have recieved a really good push. I'm not sure if he would be World Champ. But I certainly think he would have been involved at Mania. And would be pushed pretty strongly for a show that only runs an hour, and gets treated poorly when it comes to PPV's.

i think if Rhyno had return he would got a push as heel maybe would have been manage by paul heyman instead of the Big show i think he would have a feud w/RVD for the title & CM Punk If he had return to ECW Lashley wouldnt get a push so fast to Raw & would be still on SD! feuding for the title or would be the champion

I think he would have been World champ, and re-opened a fued when ECW shut down between RVD an Rhino around the world title again. I think that would have been a brilliant way to re-open ECW. Although part of me does think that in the long run he would have been buried after the initial push

Part of me believes Rhino would be pushed and the Originals would be respected coz Rhino wouldnt take any of Vince crap and we would see Balls Mahoney in Extreme Rules winning and we would see a decent low to mid card title with Punk and the New breed somewhere there.

On the other hand in reality i see him being buried after a major push, then Lashley would still be champ, Rhino and Sabu would still leave, Chris would still be dead and RVD would still leave for a break. Balls would still be jobbing, Dreamer would look like he was getting a push and then Nitro sorry Morrison beats him. Punk would still not be champ even tho he should be.

If Vince didnt do the storylines lets face it he has final word on them and someone with a brain did storylines not an old guy who knows the 80s WWF audience inside out everthing would be fine in the land of Extreme and Vince would be even richer!

If Rhyno has returned i could see that he be the guy holding the belt now, but at frist he would not be doing much as he would be on the lower end trying to put the younger guys over. Though as of now i could see him holiding thegold not Morrison. But really Rhyno should have come as in TNA hes nothing but a jobber now and why job in TNA when you can job in WWE for better pay. But he would have a good puh now if he did resign back last year.

i think WWE would have used him poorley just like in the past, WWE overlooks real talent 99% of the time, in TNA rhino at least gets to have some great matches/feuds, in WWE he would just get buried in a couple of months

If Rhyno would have returned he would've probably been the Val Venis of ECW. He would be the guy who has good skills, would sometimes make an appearance on ECW and loses from all the upcoming talent.


Me wonders how many months it will take before all the ECW originals are gone.

I want to believe that Rhyno would of been fine, and been a World Champion of ECW like he deserves, but I know deep in my heart he'd be jobbing to Lashley (to the bloody spear of all things), and stay in midcard his whole WWECW career.

If Rhyno had returned he would have ended up just like all the other ecw originals either jobbing to people or having a small push then disappearing. I think its best that he stays with TNA

If Rhyno had come back maybe ecw would not be in the shape it is in , Rhyno was a great wrestler in the day, he would of been able to carry on a good feud with Lashley for the ecw title. i see him and rvd would of put on instant classic matchs

Rhyno would have been champ at some point. Hard to say if it would have been by now, considering it took this long to get the belt on Punk who besides RVD is one of the biggest fan favs the new ECW has going. Of course I somehow don't seem them letting Rhyno do some of his most devastating moves like the piledriver off the ring apron through the table. So a censored version of Rhyno just like the censored version of ECW itself wouldn't make much of a difference IMO.

But if he did come back then, he would be jobbing now. ECW has come into its own as a company. If he returned later this year, he would be huge, CM Punk vs Rhino, Rhino vs Big Daddy V, Rhino vs Eiljah Burke. All great matches that could only do good things for the future of ECW.

I think Rhyno would start out with a major push and then turn into just another glorified jobber. Sad he didn't come back though - he was half-way entertaining.

I really think that Vince wanted Rhyno back for 2 reasons. First and maybe the most important one was that i want the original ECW title belt back which Rhyno actually owns. Secondly, he wanted Rhyno just so i could take away a major wrestler away from TNA. Personally, i think Mcmahon never knew how to use Rhyno and he never will and if rhyno would have been dumb enough to sign with the WWE last year, he would have been a jobber like balls MAhoney and the rest of the originals were.

I'm not going to reflect on the past on how the WWE used Rhyno.

It's no secret the WWE likes bigger guys that looks like realistic characters that can actually "over come the odds" and Rhyno is one of those guys. It really seemed as if he was very close to signing with the WWE up until TNA guaranteed Rhyno a push and a raise and wrote a script for him to trash a bag claiming it holds the ECW title, which was very ironic.

If Rhyno did come back to ECW, i think that he would have been in the mid card until around the time that Lashley's reign as champ got into full swing and all the other "big names (RVD, Show, Sabu, Test, Holly)" in ECW were no longer "big names". This could have set up a possible Rhyno/Lashley match at Mania for the title. I still believe that Lashley would have gotten pushed to Raw and Rhyno would be let on ECW as the #1 heel, which means the chance for some good matches between Punk and Rhyno.

Side-note: Would have been nice to see how they were really going to use the Alpha Male after the end of the new breed.

Nothing...sure he won a few belts, but none of them were memorable title runs...He could be the main attraction in ecw right now...and who knows rob van dam, sabu and sandman might still be there if he would have came.

I agree with most that he would for sure have had a title run but i doubt that they would have had him hold it for that long. i personally like rhyno but lok at how he had been treated the entire time he was there not too much to speak of. i think he would have had his run then just been another credible body in the main event level. I don't think that vince care about any of the originals except RVD because of the POP he alway got.

i think rhyno would have been disgusted in the new vision of ecw, if he accepted the wwe contract. i think that he is getting a decent run in tna. i personally think he made the right career choice. ecw, would have been a mistake. he would just be another tommy dreamer. were people continue to have faith. but then he just loses to new comers, such as big daddy v.

How do you know what he wants? Maybe he hated being in WWE, maybe he didn't want to be the man on their minor league show that barely gets better ratings than the show he's on now if it meant being in that company. Maybe he really likes being in a company with a better working environment and an easier schedule. Maybe he likes being in the midcard where he doesn't have to carry the company. Maybe he cares more about entertaining fans more than title runs. Maybe he's really enjoying his fued with the cowboy. If you have any shred of proof that any of that isn't true, I'd love to see it. Otherwise I'm not sure how you can sit there with no knowledge of the situation whatsoever and say he f*cked up, especially when NOBODY knows what would've happened if he signed with ECW. Yeah it's easy to sit there and say oh he'd be the main attraction...just like Rob Van Dam, Sabu, and The Sandman are the main attractions now? Or Balls "I'm The Miz's pussy whipped jobbing bitch" Mahoney" and Tommy "too bad heart doesn't show up in the win loss column" Dreamer? You really think Rhyno would be doing any better of them would? Yeah, I guess he did f*ck up...he went to a situation he was happier in to do a job he'd rather do with a better schedule instead of going to a company he hated working for and with people he can't stand on a horrible schedule that ruined his life the last time where he MIGHT be the main attraction on their minor league third brand, or just as easily could be jobbed out on a weekly basis while being made look like a chump assuming he hasn't left the company by now and ended up back in TNA. What a f*ck up. I'm amazed he still shows up for work. It's surely matter of time before he goes Chris Benoit/Mike Awesome over that f*ck up. I know I would. Afterwall there's so much more to life than happiness and enjoying what you do for a living.

What's your justification for that? To be honest, Rhyno would probably have had his run or would be chasing CM Punk or John Morrison. Something along those lines anyway. So yea, he'd probably be some Raw rejects bitch, like RVD was before him. I don't think he's missing out on anything.

Okay time has passed and now if Rhyno returns to ECW i think hed be chasing the ECW title and they do a thing were the title is going home to an ECW original. Hed be pushed mega hard as the top ECW guy he could feud with Morrison and send him to RAW were he can feud for the Intercontinental for the rest of his life. He could do a feud with Dreamer original vs orignal to see who really was the best although theyd have to build dreamer back up from jobber to the rising stars.

Have Dudleys return home to ECW and kick ass in a Tables match first day back, have them fight Jehricho and Edge in a ECW vs Smackdown and Raw feud and have it end in a huge TLC at One night stand.

Have Rhyno be the top guy on ECW and have him help out with stars, if you wanted to get him outa the title picture then they could just have him pick a new guy and try to do a mentor stroy and have them win the tag titles and then do a splitting up feud sort of the other guy says he dosnt need Rhyno anymore gets beat by Rhyno goes to Smackdown or Raw to win the inter cont or us and then in a promo says looks like i didnt need Rhyno after all and after a few weeks Rhyno ruins the guys title match so he loses the title.

Rhyno was the future of the old ECW then went to WWE and got misused terribly. IF he was on WWECW then he would make a great impact and be used better than the terrible acoholic storyline in TNA

In Septemeber ECW had died everyone relized that the show sucked they put Batista on the show and they didnt use there originals the way they should of been.
