I think my dad has cancer.

He did some X-Rays, and he's pretty sure he has it. The doctor says they might have saw something, and they want to do more X-Rays and tests. I.. just. I don't fucking know. I can't help but immediately think the absolute worst, I always go for the worst case scenario. My dad is my hero man.. I can't even possibly begin to fathom what it would be like without him. I feel like my life is going nowhere right now. My social life has pretty much crashed, I work all night, sleep a good part of the day and repeat. My "friends" are super two-faced and always want to bum money, but when i'm hard up for cash they don't wanna speak to me. It's just a clusterfuck. I just dunno what to do. Sorry about the rant..

There are loads of cancers that are treatable these days. Don't get fucked in your head over it. It should be alright. Don't dwell on it.

Hearts, thoughts, prayers... all sent to you man. But, fate has it's plans and the best thing is to stay positive throughout the entire ordeal. Cancer's pretty bad, if it's cancer, but there are readily available treatments out there.

My thoughts go out to you.

I completely understand where you're coming from. I've been there twice, not being able to think of anything but the worst, the second time I made myself so ill thinking about it that I had to be hospitalized. It's scary. Things seem like they're about to spiral out of control but you've got to (and I know how hard it is) stop yourself from going there and use all your strength to think positive- for yourself and especially for you dad. If he does have it (and he might not), it's nowhere near the end, remember that. It's just the beginning of the fight and I promise you all your strength will make a difference in this.

If you ever need someone to talk to, feel free to PM me.

Freddy my boy I'm hear to talk if you ever need someone to listen man. You have me on Facebook and my MSN. I have first hand experience in this, as my dad passed away when I was in 9th grade from lung cancer. It sucks dealing with it, but you can get through it with help from friends and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you man and try to think of the best and try not dwell on the worse, like Razor said.

As Theo said. My MSN is always open...except when the internet goes out and I am logged out. You need to talk, hit me up.

Sorry to hear that man.

My dads good friend of thirty years has a rear form of cancer.. Only like 10 million people have it or something. Then it got worse, he had a problem with his eyes, which was said to be another type of cancer... Pretty scary shit, then he found out like a week later that the thing behind his eye was not cancerous. So he has won one battle so far. Hopefully he can win another.

Like people said, just try to stay positive. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of '08. It was hard, but we all stayed positive, and it turned out OK. It's tough, but staying positive is half the battle. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
