The reason I came to this forum was because of an incident that happened at the last forum I frequented. It was a wrestling forum, like this one, and had an e-fed, like this one, which I was a part of.

One day, for reasons that are far complex to get into, at the end of one promo I had my character drop the n-bomb. I tried to explain to a mod who was pissed at me that I was trying to prove my point, that it's just a word and doesn't mean shit unless people choose to get offended. And I used the fact that none of the other players had an issue with me using the word as proof. He, however, went on about how I offended someone and shouldn't use the word. I asked him who I offended, but he refused to tell me. We went back and forth until he said he was going to suspend me for two weeks. I told him to screw off and quit. I then eventually came here.

Did I learn my lesson? Not really sure. Will I use the word again? Not on this forum. Have my views on the word changed? Absolutely not. I still feel that the n-word and other racial slurs are nothing but meaningless syllables stringed together, which only cause a reaction if the one it's used towards chooses to react.

Having said that, I think Areoplex is fucking shitscum and needs to be banned right fucking now.
