I just realized...

TSG

Too Sweet To Be Sour
Kurt Cobain-Nirvana

Dale Crover-The Melvins

Patrick Simmons-The Doobie Brothers

Bryan Danielson-No explanation needed, this is a wrestling forum.

Are all from the same town. I knew that Crover and Cobain had shared the same town but I knew nothing of the other two.

Cobain is a grunge hero. Smells Like Teen Spirit is one my favorite songs.

However, I don't care about the others. Especially Bryan Danielson....though that probably won't win me any points with Harthan.

The Melvins were damn good. Not your kind of music I'm guessing though Razor.

I used to be obsessed with grunge music growing up. Cobain was fucking GOD to me. Morrison was always number one though. Probably because my dad loved the Doors and played their records nonstop when I was a kid.

I'm with you on Cobain, Razor, he is awesome, I'm still hoping I get that Cobain avatar with "Heavier Than Heaven" in the text.

Crover, well I only know of him because of my studyings and readings of Cobain.

Simmons, yeah I like The Doobie Brothers.

And Danielson, well, he is a great in-ring talent, and since that stuff entertains me I like him.

He's great outside the ring, too. He has charisma out this World, very good mic skills, and as a person... there aren't many nicer guys in the business.

I have five true musical heroes, and as of June 25th, 2009, they are all dead. In order of their deaths, from first to last, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Johnny Cash, and Michael Jackson. Right below them rest Slash, Nikki Sixx, Angus Young, Dave Mustaine, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and others, but they are still alive.

Nikki Sixx is still alive?! What the fuck.

As Denis Leary said:

Jim Morrison? Dead. John Lennon? Dead. Michael Bolton? Alive and well. Fuck you God.

Nikki Sixx man? How does that fit in with Cash, Cobain, Morrison and Hendrix?

Mötley Crüe.

Sorry, I just love the fact I can do accents. The band itself is ok..

Come on now, X. Give Michael Bolton a little bit of credit. I mean, his rendition of "When A Man Loves A Woman" is not just the greatest cover of all time, but the greatest version of that song period. The man was great.

Well X, he basically went to hell and back with his addiction, plus he can write good lyrics. Motley isn't that bad, and Sixx A.M is pretyy good.

That is among the worst blasphemy you have ever stated, and I pray and secretly think you're being sarcastic. I certainly hope so.

Especially because Percy Sledge's version is the all time greatest and it's not even debatable. You know damn well what clip I'm about to bust out, don't you? Go to 3:15 into the video. Though I'm sure you've seen it 12 million times like myself.

Who gives a fuck about his addiction? He's a terrible songwriter and a mediocre guitarist. Motley Crue exemplifies everything that was wrong with popular American rock in the 80s.

Sorry, I just despise Motley Crue. Talentless hacks who had a grand total of one good song.

Of course I was joking, man. I watched Office Space the other day and instantly thought of that when I read your post, lol.

And you already know how I feel about that video. Epic beyond any words could ever express.

My sarcasm meter is shit until I get some bud in me. Hold on a second.

There we go, that's better. :rasta:

Sarcasm away! I haven't seen Office Space in quite a while, I should pop it in sometime this week.

I'm the guy who, if he isn't listening to sissy 90's alt rock or the more recent John Mayer-related feel goods, he's listening to stuff like Coheed and Cambria. Lulz. I never really delved much further into grunge than Nirvana, and Punk rock is all but a "What? I've heard of that" to me.

:worship: Cobain

Smells Like Teen Spirit just got number one in Triple J's hottest 100 of all time here in Australia.

Triple J is a national radio station here, just to let you international folk know ;)
