House shows?

There's one in my city,Richmond VA, December 29th. WZ just posted about it.. this is the card.

- The Smackdown and ECW brand will have a house show on December 29th, with the following card:
* Street Fight for the WWE Title: HHH vs. Vladimir Kozlov
* Steel Cage Match: The Undertaker vs. The Big Show
* ECW Title Match: Matt Hardy © vs. Mark Henry
* US Title Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin ©
* Others scheduled to appear are: The Great Khali, Umaga, Carlito Colon, Primo Colon, John Morrison, The Miz, Michelle McCool and more.

The tickets are running up to about $60. I'm seriously debating whether or not to go. I've only been to one show.. ever. August 11, 2008. RAW, Live from Richmond VA. More known as the RAW where Kane exposed what was in the bag as ReyRey's mask.

Are house shows any different from live events.. like.. at all? Besides they dont air on TV? lol. Just wondering here..

Yeah there's a good amound of differences. No tron, no set, just the guys walking down the aisle and getting in the ring. It's a very different feeling though. The matches tend to run longer which is always a good thing. There's a lot more jobber matches, which can be fun because you'll see guys you don't often get to see. If youc an find a ticket for about 20, I'd go.

At the risk of sounding like more of a noob.. there's really no set and tron? Kinda strange. But yeah, I figured i'd spend a little bit of dough to try to afford halfway decent seats.

I think I am. I've never seen SD/ECW live. Maybe my favorite on SD, Edge will be back by then.

I saw my first house show this year. It was good, but you could really tell how fake it was(i was ring side). It was smackdown/ecw so I didn't get to see my favorites Jeff Hardy, HBK, or Melina! But I saw Edge, Morrison, Miz, Yang, and Ted Dibiase before he was in priceless. Plus a lame diva bikini contest(no michelle mcCool or victoria though

But the card looks pretty good, so you should go. My ringside seats were only 58.50...

Been to 7 house shows before, 6 of them WWE and they are usually alright. They usually have a small set when they come to Sydney though. It's got a door way in the middle and two screens on each side of the entrance door way. RAW's coming next year and I have my tickets

But I would go to that, looks pretty good.
