Hey NSL

:lmao:

That's about the reaction I had. The mud wrestling match is up in it's entirety too...

Still can't find a video of the chair shot from Sunday :(

So I haven't talked to you in a while NSL. How are you? How was your Christmas and New Years?

Christmas was pretty good. New Year's could have been a ton better, but no real complaints. Work is fucking killing me, but what else is new?

Always fun to have a good Christmas, and a decent New Years. Are you slow as hell at work again?

Quite the opposite. It's been nuts here all week, and add in housekeeping issues, and the lack of a General Manager, the hotel has been insane. I only had Thursday off, which is part of why the holiday sucked. I slept all morning, ran errands all afternoon, and then was exhausted by the time I got home to actually celebrate.

How was your holidays?

Ouch that blows. I can imagine the New Years rush on hotel rooms though. That would probably be a shitty night to work, or very interesting. Maybe a mix of both.

Christmas was okay. Missed the majority of the family since I had to work Christmas Eve, which is when we all get together. Christmas Day was a nice calm day though, first with my mom's side of the family. New Years Eve was cool. Got off work at 11:30, sped over to a friend's house for the countdown, left her house at 1:00 when she kicked everyone out, then stopped by my best friend's house for a little bit before going home. New Years Day was a family day, bowling and hanging out lol.

Hello.

What hotel do you work at NSL?

It's called the Chateau Resort & Conference Center. This is the best pic I can find, but it's about 3 years old, and for some oddball reason, they took it in the fall.

So NSL, how pumped are you for Monday? I for one can not wait. I know you'll be watching TNA, I will however be watching Raw, but DVRing TNA. I have to watch Bret live, my all time favorite finally coming back. It should be great either way, no matter which show you chose.

I have off Monday and Thursday next week, so I will be watching both showings for Impact. I really want to be able to view it from a neutral standpoint, and the only way to do that is by watching it twice, and giving it a fair chance.

I'm still undecided as to if I should watch Raw or Impact. I know Impact is replaying the whole episode on Thursday but I'm too excited to have to wait for three days just to see it. But then Raw has Bret Hart which I really want to see just because of how great it can turn out to be. And I want to see his condition to see if he's worth getting excited for.

What I'm thinking is that WWE won't introduce Hart until the end or towards the end of the show so that they can hype him throughout the show. Hopefully I'm right about that so I can watch Impact without having to worry that I'll miss something that I wanted to see on Raw.

I'm hoping TNA is smart, and holds off on the Hogan intro until right before the 9p slot. Have him come out at like 852p, so he has time to hold over the people that would switch the channels.

I don't think Hart is going to come out at the end. I'm thinking RAW starts with Vince in the ring, and midway through some speech, Hitman's music hits.

If that happens, TNA had better be ready with something that's must-see on Spike.

Yeah, hopefully they'll do something that is must watch every quarter hour or every 30 minutes just so they make sure that people won't start switching the channels. It probably wouldn't be smart to do, but perhaps they should try and have Hogan come out at the same time as Hart. I wouldn't like it because then I would miss one of the two, but for them it would be good. However, I say it isn't smart because then things we'll probably be a mess and very disorganized backstage if they have to keep moving things around just to make sure Hogan comes out at the same time as Hart. It would just be a big headache for them backstage and I don't think they want that.

Also, for the first hour they shouldn't do any of the big surprises there. Perhaps a semi-big one to open up the show to get viewers hooked but keeps RVD (IF he's appearing) and the other big ones for later.

Another thing, Hogan should come out and make his debut at 9 or a little bit earlier. Cut a promo but tell fans he'll be back later for another promo which would then involve whoever they plan to involve. That way it'll keep viewers watching and anticipating the big Hogan promo of the night which would involve Foley, Dixie, possibly Jarrett, e.t.c.

I've just realized that I've made a few posts tonight that I could have posted in the non-spam areas and gotten my post count up with :lmao:.

The first hour almost books itself.

Open with Ultimate X. Have Red drop the title to someone/anyone, and let 6-8 spot monkies just go. This prevents anyone from changing the channel.

Then you showcase a young guy. Morgan v Steiner would be a great way to kill off 5-7 minutes.

Squeeze in a woman's tag title match. Let Kong and Hamada show that the Knockouts really are better than the Divas.

Then you go to a tag match. Maybe let the Guns cut loose with the Brits for 10 minutes.

And then, at 852p, you bring out Hogan, and let him talk until 856p. Cut to commercial, and at 858p, return with RVD making his way to the ring.

I'll be watching the 1st hour of Impact live, so TNA is gonna have to bring the guns to keep me from changing the channel. I'm crazy excited though, the potential for both shows are through the roof.

They could also have the Young Bucks face off againt the MCMG's now that they are signed. I heard they had a great match in the YB's tryout match so that would be a great idea.

Also, there's is the possibility that some people will watch Raw first and then Impact. So I say have Hogan come out at 9ish cut a promo. Commercial brake and then have RVD come out because that will probably be the time people start checking out what they'll be doing.

Also, they need to make sure that they have a really strong third hour. I wouldn't be surprised if Vince tries to make the second hour of Raw (which is competing with the third hour of Impact) really strong...so they need to be careful. I don't think they'll have too much trouble outdoing whatever Vince does though. He and his shows have gotten extremely predictable.

Exactly. This is why you open with something like the Ultimate X, and then as the ring crew is tearing down the set for it, you cut to a limo pulling in, and show Hogan getting out, and then cut away before anyone else gets out...

I'm half expecting a Jarrett v Angle match, but I'd like to see more of Daniels and Wolfe, in any capacity. If AJ isn't in the main event, I'll riot.

Oh, I'll be right next to you rioting. Perhaps another Angle vs. AJ match?

And as far Ultimate X, I would have that later on in the show. Instead, they could have YB's vs. MCMG like I said if the match was as great as people said it was. That way they showcase some of the X-Division but don't give away too much. Instead, they give away just enough to keep people tuned in to watch the Ultimate X later on. I would say have it as the main event of hour number two or beginning of hour number three.

Also, I hope they don't over do it with the gimmick matches and gimmicks overall. That might make some people not want to watch the show. And hopefully they'll be extremely serious about this. So that means no Cody Deaner and such.

Considering Deaner was shitcanned, I doubt he'll be appearing at all :p

I don't want them to go nuts with the gimmicks, but they need to showcase at least one that will demonstrate the advantages of the ring. If not Ultimate X, than a Six Sides Of Steel.

Remember though, the ring might be going away. I didn't mind the ring, but I guess if they want to look like a threat then they'd have to switch it sooner or later.

Ultimate X is a match they should definitely have. It showcases the X-Division which is something wayyyy different than WWE so it might want to make people keep watching just for them. The division may not be as good as it once was, but it's still pretty darn good if you don't compare it to the past.

They should have another gimmick match but that's it. One or two if fine. A third one is fine too depending on what it is. If they do a second gimmick match then a six or 4 sides of steel match could be good.

Also, I just remember they'll have Sting coming back. I'm excited about that as well.
