Hey NSL

Living with a drinking buddy ain't a bad idea, but you have to make sure to keep your shit together or it will all fall down around you.

I wouldn't worry about them and their opinions. They can't really effect your daily life at all, so let them bitch and move on with it. Eventually they'll get tired of it, right?

Meh, they'll start to calm down in a few months, if everything goes according to my current plan.

If it involves killing them, I don't want to know :lmao: How's the comedy stuff going? And what do you do in your band? Or are you the vuvuzela player?

No death involved (at least, not literally ;) )

I'm the vocalist. I borrow heavily from inspiration given by Dead and Necro. The vuvuzela player is one of my buddies who used to play tin whistle in one of my old bands.

As for the comedy, I switched to a more Rollins approach, and am just doing spoken word at bars. If I feel like getting a laugh out of people, I lead them in the Pledge of the SES, whilst smoking, and taking a sip of Rolling Rock. Works every damn time.

Same here. I don't have any talent for playing any instruments, but I've gotten pretty badass at vocals. I've been following the Melissa Cross lessons, and am saving up to go out there for a few days and get some lessons directly from her. It's $300 an hour though. I've got my screams down to pretty much what Phil Labonte from All That Remains does, and my clean vocals are a lot like early 90's grunge. Shit like Alice In Chains and Soundgarden. It's a nice mix, if I do say so myself.

:lmao: I've been watching a ton of Rollins lately, so it's funny you mention him. What's great abouth is comedy is just the genius of it. It's not poo jokes and political humor. It's actually smart, which a lot of comedians avoid these days.

Exactly. Even his rants on how much he hates U2, or his anecdote about the TransSiberian Railroad trip are fucking hilarious. Some of his best bits, he's deadpan, too. Like all the Rollins Reconsiders thing he did on his show.

Actually saw him a couple months ago, too. Southgate House in Newport, KY. Bastard had everyone in stitches all night, and ended it with his own spin on the Aristocrats.:lmao:

The story about his trip on the TransSiberian is one of my favorites. I literally watched that about an hour ago too. I'd love to hear his take on the Aristocrats. Wonder if it's on YouTube somewhere...

A lot is going on actually. Between work, school, friends, home, the Hawks. I'll stop by on MSN, but not too often, should probably try a little more. I have a 25 year old blonde female that is really into me. She is pretty awesome.

Shit happens, dude. It's all good. Not like I've really been around all that much myself :lmao:Good to hear everything is going well.

Sweetness. I have a 28 year old blonde and a 19 year old latina on the list of options, and things are going well, so I'm taking my time and weighing my choices. It's not a bad problem to have, but I'd like it sorted out, y'know?

Thank you sir. Hope all is well with you too. Stellar about the blonde and latina. Just enjoy your time and go with what you feel is right. Wait, why am I telling you this? I'm sure you already know this. Hahahaha.

Everything is pretty good for me. As I told Dewey, everything seems to be sorted out, joined a band, and things are getting better for Zack, so this female situation is all that's left to sort out.

They're two entirely different people too, so there's a lot to consider. Rachele (the 28 year old) has a 9 year old daughter, we've known each other 6 years, and she lives walking distance away from my job. Kat (the latina, obviously) is in art school, has no kids, is a little more my speed as far as music/attitude, but lives in NJ, about 90 minutes away.

Neither decision is really "wrong", but there are positives and negatives to both. I'm getting to the age where it's about time to settle down, which makes Rachele the better choice. The fact she's a mom is also a plus, because it would be nice for Zack, and since her daughter is close to Zack's age (and we're both past the point of having a 2nd kid ourselves), it would make us a "family" pretty quickly. As good as that is, it's also a negative too. Bringing kids into a relationship like that makes it very shaky, and things can go bad quickly.

Kat is beyond mature for her age, and inspires me in ways I haven't known before. I feel energized talking to her, and every day seems to bring something new. We also have a lot more in common as far as music and everyay-life goes. But, she's also only 19, which isn't much more than twice Zack's age. Can't really ask her to take on that responsibility, and because she's so young, there's less of a chance of a long term relationship.

So...like I said. It's complicated :lmao:

Shameless plug: In This Moment's new album comes out on July 13th. Check it out :)

Yeah, that is rough, man. Good luck with making that choice though.

In random news, I'm seeing Titus on Sunday.

Titus! He's great. Have you heard anything about if he has a new special coming out or anything? Or, is it just the tour?

I'm not sure. The comedy club doesn't say what it is, just that he is going to be there. If it is Love is Evol or new material, I will laugh my ass off. Looooove Titus.
