Serious Mozzarella
Special Victims Unit
In the past few months, I've come to firmly believe that the WWE has been working us in every possible way, both on TV and "behind the scenes." I don't believe for a second that the company is disorganized enough to have backstage leaks come out every single day regarding the Daniel Bryan or CM Punk situation, and I think all of these things are a work by the WWE.
Think about it. Why do you think The Shield comes out to make the fans chant for him harder, while releasing information that signs are being confiscated, only to find out later that signs weren't actually confiscated?
Do you guys honestly believe they're going to just disregard Daniel Bryan's industry-changing, sun-like glow over fans all over the country, and his massive merchandise sales from out of left field, so that they can keep Cena or Orton on top? Do you think they're ignoring "Yes" chants at sports games? Do you guys not see the "cracks" in Randy Orton's character? There's a lot of really creative underlying tones to all of this - almost like they brought in an outside perspective to creative to come up with something huge.
Or maybe I'm just really overly optimistic about wrestling right now, and Triple H is actually just giving his friends the spotlight, completely wrecking community interest in the product, with Vince hanging above, smiling down from his chairman position as long as a muscle is at the top. But I'm not going to sit here and pretend I know these people personally, by citing H's or Vince's "ego" or whatever smarks go on about.
