Hardy boyz (Omega) sellout wrestling event

- Jeff Hardy returned to the ring at last night's OMEGA Championship Wrestling event in North Carolina. He teamed with Hurricane Helms and Matt Hardy to win a six-man main event. Jeff did not wrestle as Willow. The event was sold out and apparently drew a large crowd for indie standards. Matt noted on social media before the show that they were trying to persuade the local Fire Marshall to let them sell standing room only tickets. Hardy posted a Facebook video of fans lined up around the building before the show began.

Good for the Hardy's but it makes me wonder how they can sell out an event yet TNA struggles to in the US..... Why not hire whomever organized this for Omega?!?!?!

A "Sellout" to these guys could be like. 6-700 people. Depends on the venue and how many it holds. I've seen indy events here draw 2,500-3,000 people easily.

Matt and Jeff still draw. Jeff especially. I sometimes wonder (though harsh) if its a destruction derby type of selling. If people buy into Hardy because they wanna see him crash and burn in real life...

Oh, so the Hardys won the main event of their own promotion? Who would have figured.


Also, I am sure it is easy to sell out a crowd consisting of your family & redneck friends. If TNA held an event at the Carter family reunion, I would imagine the same attendance results.
