Guess the next Hall of Fame Inductee

NegativeFeedback

Mid-Card Championship Winner
The two announced names for the 2014 class are The Ultimate Warrior and Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

So who's next??

This isn't a thread about saying who you think should be in the HoF. There are other threats like that. I'm asking you to purely speculate who WWE has already chosen to go next.

I for one think Sting is a likely candidate, as well as Honky Tonk Man and Kevin Nash, but I'm going to go with PAUL BEARER. I have a feeling he'll be the next one announced.

I'd have to go with Paul Bearer myself. His contribution to the WWE through Undertaker and Kane is phenomenal(no pun intended) and deserves the HoF this year. If Edge could get it within a year of his retirement, I see no reason why Paul shouldn't!

So far the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2014 includes a roided-up bodybuilder who spent years pretending to wrestle while giving "promos" that were nothing but ten minutes of incoherent nonsense, and a drug-addled cokehead whose greatest accomplishment was losing his balance during a match (probably while drunk) and accidentally inventing the DDT. I can't wait to see who else joins this elite group in the next few weeks. Given how the class looks so far, I'd say they'll be inducting The Boogeyman, Ranjin Singh, and Chris Benoit.

Paul Bearer will likely be in it, I don't think we will see Sting in it this year as I would Imagine he would be a headline name. Nash could be a possibility though

Well how about the tag team next?

A lot of people think that the tag team who goes in this year will be the New Age Outlaws, but I think they could wait another year until they're done this final run.

I see a lot of people saying Kevin Nash here, so why not kill two birds with one stone by inducting the Outsiders. Scott Hall seems to be doing better and I think it'd be cool to see him and Big Kev go in together.

Hell, maybe they'll go for a diva and induct Lita.

But going back to what others said, I could see them inducting Paul Bearer for sure this year.

I think Paul Bearer is a certainty.

I can see Nash, The New Age Outlaws and a surprise entrant like JBL.

For the celebrity wing I pity the fools if it's not Mr T!

Agreed on Paul Bearer (RIP)

Any chance they induct 2 people posthumous in one year? I want to see Savage in before Nash

I'd like to see Lita as the next inductee but I think Bearer is a good shout. I'd love for Demolition to be the tag team inducted but I've read several times that Vince and Ax still haven't resolved their issues.

Rick Rude is another guy who I think is overdue but I wonder if the stunt he pulled after the Montreal Screwjob is the reason he's yet to get the nod.

Who I most likely think it is? Paul Bearer

Who I want it to be? Either King Kong Bundy (personal hope), Rick Rude, or Jim Johnston the music guy. I think with the theme music dvd set to be released, the induction of the Warrior...Johnston, who's theme for Warrior was 50% of his success, should be acknowledged and included.

I def think that Paul Bearer will be inducted this year. I too scratch my head as to why Rick Rude isn't in yet and hopefully he will be inducted this year. It would also be great to see Bam Bam Bigelow go in as he was one of the best big men in the business. As far as teams go I would love it if they inducted the Hart Foundation. As opposed to just putting in Bret & Anvil they should put the entire group in ala The Horsemen a few years ago.. Bret, Anvil, Owen, Bulldog and Pillman. All have had HOF worthy careers and deserve the nod. The only issue I see here is obviously Owen due to his wife being very anti WWE but if the Hart Foundation is put in as a group then all of the attention isn't fully on Owen so WWE might be able to get away with it.

Rick Rude.

His two biggest feuds in the WWE were against The Ultimate Warrior and Jake Roberts, it would feel right if he were inducted in the same class as those two. And after the video they showed of Jake and Rude in WWE 2k14 on last night's episode of Raw, it makes me believe even more that Rude will be the next inductee.

A few choices in mind for the next entrant into the HOF!! While i would love o see Demolition in there,Ax for whatever reason doesn't get along with Vinnie Mac. But the most logical choice,is Paul Bearer is my guess. Arguably a top three manager of all time he deserves his spot in the HOF!! I always wanted him and Taker to go in together as I think that would be awesome. Lita outside of Trish Stratus,is he second best diva of our generation.

She had amazing in-ring ability great promos and had some great matches. A definite shoe-in IMO. I would love to see Rick Rude inducted,I truly would. But what did Miss Elizabeth ever do to never get inducted? I get savage but the first lady of wrestling she should be in

The Hart Foundation unit ( thus making it possible to honour Owen's memory )

Fully agree with Ravishing Rick Rude one of my favourite wrestlers ever.

Michael hayes ?

Dean malenko ?

they will have for more

female - Lita (trish)
hopefully a Tag team this year - Demolition or Faboulous Freebirds
Posthumous - Paul Bearer (taker+kane)/British Bulldog (bret hart) Big Boss Man
Kevin Nash
Celebrity - Pamela Anderson (shawn michaels)

I think we will see 3 of the above

just for fun, im going to chuck in there

Dino bravo (bobby heenan) and Honky Tonkman (jimmy hart)

your spot on with jim johnston - wwe without his music would not be a success.period.

If I had to guess, the original three NWO will go in. Nash, Hall and Hogan. That's just a guess based on Hogan signing and them wanting to do something with him. What better way than to put him in the HoF again and then have him in a segment at WM the next night?

Its Paul Bearer. then its going be another 2 inductee's and the last one is going be Macho Man.Others have mentioned Macho man in the past but very rarely was it by an announcer like Michael Cole did last night, when talking about fan favorite action figures that are going be coming out soon.

i like to see paul bearer and lita are next inducties. May be kevin nash to be added in that list. According to tag team or stable original nwo is possible.

Ax doesn't like Vince cos of the way he was sidelined from Demolition back in the day. He had an episode similar to Lawler last week where he got sick from seafood and Vince took it as "Heart attack risk, get rid" and binned him quickly after many years service... I'd like to think it can be gone over as both Ax and Smash can show up and Crush almost deserves a solo HOF, being a Demo puts him over the top. They also had a major feud with Warrior for Survivor Series.

Rude to me is a must, as are the Hart faction... heres the thing, you're inducting Bearer who is dead, you have Warrior and Jake who aren't, Taker and Kane will without question induct Bearer and can get Bret, Jim, Harry and Pillman and maybe even Owen's kids there... so you can get round having "dead guys" going in by them all going in together. Jake can induct Rude or Heenan if he's up to it... and then a lot of the "bug bears" are done... Davey, Rude, Pillman, Owen, Bearer all deserving, all in the HOF so they can then move past those issues... then next year can be Savage and Liz as the headliners...

Of those not mentioned so far, I think Rick Martel is a good bet as he too feuded with Jake, Jim Johnstone for me is the unsung hero and another "must" but they also tend to go for a promoter type and Jim Cornette might be a great shout for that as he is someone who can show up and make a great speech (which they will need as Warrior's is gonna be a zinger)

So far we've got one huge superstar from his generation & one of the best mid-carders of all time.

That leaves us with :

A manager : I think Paul Bearer would be a good choice but I'm wondering if maybe the WWE wants to wait until Taker's induction, or at least until he retires for the speech? Plus waiting a couple years would make sense as there aren't too many more managers they could induct.

A figure from the Golden Age : Can anyone tell me why Lou Thesz is not in there yet? Am I missing something? Only partially being snarky.....I really would like to know if anybody has any reasons?

Another mid-carder : I don't think this is Owen's year, if only for the fact I feel like we would have heard rumblings. I think Rick Rude is more likely.

A tag team : There are so many to choose from, but personally I would love to see the Bulldogs get in. There may be some more deserving, but this team was comprised of two amazing athletes who helped expand the WWE fan base overseas. In addition, I don't know if either of them would ever get in on their own merits.

Beyond that I'd like to see a big man get in there. Bam Bam Bigelow was great, but I'd give the nod to Vader.

**IF they are going to induct a match, I can see no other option than the Wrestlemania main event. While not the most technically sound or my first choice (Steamboat/Savage WMIII), it was a match that changed the course of the WWE.
