Fantastic movie.

Batista got a lot more screen time than I thought he would get, yet he played his character extremely well.

Did anyone notice the Iron Man helmet next to Howard the Duck in the post-credits scene?

I've heard nothing but good things about it. I assume this will be a major kick-starter for Batista's acting campaign, provided he makes the right film choices from this point onward.

I'm gonna take the same approach I took with Days of Future Past. Wait till it's been in the cinema for four weeks, so all the tweenies with their damn phones are out of the way, then go see it when there'll only be a handful of adults watching it with me.

I would say this movie is better than Days of Future Past and worth going to see now during the initial hype, but then revisiting a few weeks later once the teens stop flocking the theater.

I rarely see movies twice in the theater, but I plan on making it a point to go back and watch this one in the next couple of weeks.

I went on the opening night at half nine. Past all the little bastards' bedtimes.

Just saw it, pretty damn good. Not surprised they've already got a sequel underway. It'll take a second viewing to really see if it's better than it's competition early in the year: The Winter Soldier, but it's definitely in the top five of my favorite Marvel Movies.

I saw it last night. I loved it, so funny. Some of the CGI was dreadful though and once again the villains are shite.

It'll be hard to get excited about Thanos as a main villain now. A big, pink, CGI blob.

The film is a hoot though.

I could have happily sat in the theater for another hour. What a great ride. Batista was also surprisingly fantastic. Had a blast.

Just got back from the theater. Loved this movie. I'll definitely be watching it again in a few weeks. Batista also pleasantly surprised me as I've never really cared much for his acting. A lot of fun.

Having never read the comics, and not being a huge Marvel fan outside of X-Men, I wasn't sure what to expect. But the script was pretty great. Drax and Rocket in particular were awesomely written. And I couldn't stop laughing at Groot's gasp.

If I had one issue with the film, it's that the the antagonists were so uninteresting compared to the heroes. Which is a shame, cause Marvel usually have good villains

Also, I know people weren't confident that Batista could pull off a major role. But c'mon, you don't get a major role in a Marvel universe movie if you're not pretty good in that role.

Honestly, Marvel have the best heroes and DC the best villains. That's how I see it.

What a movie. The bit where they took the metaphors seriously had me laughing the entire time. Props to Batista, he did great in this one. Can't wait for the sequel.

Aside from Loki Marvel Studious is actually known for uninteresting villains in their movies while having awesome protagonists.

Indeed but there's nothing more to really foreshadow. You've already been teased with Avengers 2 win Cap 2 and an Antman easter egg wouldn't make any sense.

I think we've become spoiled with after credit scenes. It's obvious that nothing will touch the original Nick Fury. We should be grateful they even give us fun joke ones like Howard.

I'll have to see this movie when it shows over here. I simply can't believe Mr Fluffylines can act, without any other evidence to the contrary.

Probably a mixture. Some smarks don't focus on the outside world at all.

Yeah, I have no problems with the post-credits scene at all. If they wanted to have fun with it, then why not right? I hope that from now on the post-credits scene don't give us a teaser as to what's next EVERYTIME. If they keep doing it, it'll lose it's appeal. We all know how everyone gets a little picky, so yeah.

I'll be honest and say that I wanted to see more Thanos in the post-credits scene though

I must have been the only one who had seen Howard the Duck in the cinema, because I was the only one who looked like I wanted to stab the screen.

The post-credits scene was incredible. And who's to say it isn't used as an introduction to a new character?

Besides, Iron Man 3 and Avengers both had humorous post-credits scenes (Shawarma in Avengers and the conversation between Banner and Stark in Iron Man 3). Plus, Guardians was pretty much an action comedy, so naturally a comedic character fits.
