Greatest superstar of all time,

Since you said superstar and not wrestler i'd go with Hogan. Whether we like him or not hes helped WWE with a ton of stuff and he pretty much had the perfect gimmick back in the day. Ok yeah, he does seem to give himself too much credit and he is annoying at the present time but still. He brought in the fans, made Vince the money, what else did Vince want him to do? Again, superstar is the key word but if this said "Greatest wrestler of all time" then Hogan wouldn't even come close.

Triple H for sure. This guy is everything you would want in a wrestler. He has awesome mic skills. Has amazing in ring skills. Has great ability to get great crowd reaction whether he is a heel or a face. When Rocky and Austin were injured and when they eventually left the company and when HBK was on a hiatus, Trips was the guy that carried the company till Cena emerged as the top face. HHH puts butts in seats and brings in the doe for Vince, what more could Vinny MaC ask of him ?! HHH has dominated the WWE in some way for the last 11-12 years and he has also created, IMO the two greatest stables of all time DX and Evolution. He simply is that damn good.

To all the people who say other names than Hogan and Flair for greatest superstar of all time, you have to get you heads checked. I said it before and i will say it again, no Hogan (and Vince Mcmahon) no WWE and that means no wrestling in general. Do you realize that all the wrestlers we see today (i.e those that started around 2001 ) grew up watching Hogan in the ring? Same thing with Flair, if it wasn't for him and the 4 horsemen we wouldn't know what a heel stable is. For christ sake he invented the concept. It was said on the Ric Flair and the 4horsemen DVD that without them there would be no NWO, DX or Evolution. Hell WCW would have folded way before it did without Flair and the horsemen.

I have to add one more thing to what i said earlier. Who is the only pro wrestler to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated?.....None other than the person who should be #1 on the list no matter what you think of him. Hulk Hogan. I thought long and hard since my earlier post and there is clearly only one name you can make #1 and that is Hogan. He was the first person from wrestling to cross into mainstream movies (so he paved the way for the Rock, who claims he is doing that for Cena), everyone in the world knows who he is. Hell didn't he win some titles in Japan while in the WWF at the same time putting on epic matches with the Great Muta? I could be wrong on this though.

He had his own cartoon, he is who made it possible for everyone we liked and like to continue to have a job. When he was wrestling full time in the 80's you felt in your heart that he was going to lose the match, which pulled you in to it, and then he would hulk up and win. And every win with him felt like the first one when he did. I do believe he was the first wrestler shown in a hospital with an injury, and they acted like he had one too, and had all the kids send in letters to the hospital to wish him well and he was off of the program for a couple of months to get better. He is the number one person on the Make a Wish program. What more do you need from a superstar that did it all for the business?

Enough said. It's Hogan all the way.
