Great Moments In WZ History

I Am Phenom saying everyone was out to get him because he was gay or something to that effect

I found the Xfear/Konnan sign after some digging. Didn't think I would; probably the best sign ever made.

EDIT: Actually this wasn't it, but it was still pretty good.

The Luther for Admin drama made me sign up. IC talking about Vader being the best big man ever made me stay long-term.

Anything to do with Lord Sidious was epic. He was legit crazy. So was TM. Using real names and stuff... making Xfear madder than all hell. Also some banishment KB did where I was representing the dude only for KB to give one of the weirdest diatribes ever. Then banning him. I recall an Otter Pop request of some kind. I dunno. It was some sort of court preceding and I was his public defender. Can't remember his name. He sucked though.

I remember that trial. Shortly after I became pretty active, and the debut of DarKB. Epic shit, that.

Also, to add to the TM thing. I thought he was cool. Then he started fuckin' with my boy NSL, as well as posting in group chats various maps of the Cincinnati area, asking if that's where I live. Thank christ I never disclosed to him where exactly I'm from.

Also, Lariat, I've noticed on the social media that you live in my family's home county of Breathit. Love that place....

This thread is great. Makes me miss the old times.

I have to mention the IC25 / NorCal FanSlam meet-up. When he and I did that some 4-5 years ago (WOW!) it was a truly remarkable event. Highly noteworthy. We met Chris Cash there, too, and hung out with Al Snow, JJ Dillon, Eugene, and I almost got murdered by Tyson Tomko.

Since the IC / NorCal meet up, several things have occured:

1. NorCal has met D-Man, and we've all met JGlass, and the 4 of us are extremely good friends at this point, even going to Survivor Series together last November at MSG.

2. The UK contingent of the forums has staged a meet up, and posted on that.

3. KB and Becca have entered into an odd, creepily romantic relationship.

I wonder why we've never had a Mid-South meet up. There's like eight of us in Kentucky, several more in Ohio, and a couple in Tennessee. How hard would it be to meet up in Louisville or someplace?

Why odd and creepy? I mean it is but why would you say that?

Because wrestling rarely comes around here.

This thread makes me sad.

Me too. Nostalgic.

I've been 6 years; that's a long fucking time. I got here a month following the big site crash and restart in 2006, and everything was in total chaos. Ridiculous spam, advertising everywhere; I feel proud to have been one of the mods that helped clean this place up into the site it is today.

Here are a few of the standout moments that I remember...

- The E-Wedding between Will and Becca. What a clusterfuck that was; I remember Moon Knight looting their E-house before I burned it down.

- The creation of the E-fed. The E-fed that existed before WZCW was deleted due to its mods exposing sensitive information from out board room on another site. Technically speaking Big Ace and Downward Spiral were the first Fed Heads, Jonny being the ultimate Fed Head even though he never RP'd, with Prax and I coming in later.

The first show was great as it marked the only time in WZCW history that the number of characters controlled by site staff outnumbered the regular members at least 3 to 1.

- Another great memory was the creation of the Prison; even though I was against it at first, it as provided more funny drama than almost anything else on the site, from classic prisoners like Oncewalker to epic one's like Sidious.

Drama within the WZCW got so bad at one point that a number of members were thrown in prison. Those of you that think Talon's bad, thank fuck you weren't here for Senior Coconut. His actions and others nearly got WZCW condemned.

- The WZ Exclusives. Classic, Classic, Classic. Our gracious overlord Chris Cash [Sly's Boss] worked a deal to bring a number of wrestling personalities to the site. Among them were Disco Inferno, Kevin Kelly, and Konnan. Disco and Kelly were awesome and answered our questions, but Konnan was basically a dick to everyone; it got so bad that Xfear took it upon himself to mess with him hardcore. I wish to God that I had saved a copy of that gay lover's sign he had made with him and Konnan. Funniest thing on the forums ever.

When Paul Bearer never showed up to the site Shocky changed his name and masqueraded as him for a while. He had people legitimately convinced that fucking William Moody Paul Bearer was a moderator on our site.

- The most infamous thing I've ever seen here was the creation of the special VIP room which only certain elite members and staff were allowed to use. There were absolutely no rules at all, you could even post porn if you wanted to. We probably had a 50 threads just on porn within the first few days. That room nearly killed both the bar room and the non wresting non spam sections because everyone who had access to the VIP spent most of their time in there.

I've got many more, but those are stand outs.

So many delicious memories.

Someone (Spawn?) threatening to beat justinsayne up in real life

That was fucking hilarious. Spawn was crazy.

Man, JKO knew how to get it done. Miss that guy.

It was pretty funny when it turned out he was legitimately 12.

Oh god I forgot about that, and when he tried to email me a photo scan of his middle school ID to PROVE he was only 12 years old...I was like...okay, game over man, I'm out. I'M OUT! Hahaha. He was a funny kid though.

Legitimately learning what ******* was from Will, and getting banned by NorCal are probably my two favorite wrestlezone moments.

That ******* quote was legit one of the funniest things on here for years. It was like watching your childhood innocence being crushed before our very eyes.

One of my own would be the original Slyfox vs. Xfear, John Cena argument. Memories.

I was such a dumbass then. So young and naive. Granted now I could actually make a legit case for Danielson being superior to Cena now that he's a WWE main eventer (or atleast have some more ground to stand on), but man, that original thread was turrible. Glad we got Slyfox out of all that though. Yes, I was the one who lured Slyfox to this forum from YouTube under the guise of a debate about who was better, Bryan Danielson or John Cena. This was back in 2007 mind you, when Danielson was still an indy god and Cena still reviled as the five moves of doom dude. If only I had known the unspeakable horror I was about to unleash upon this forum...

I think Stormtrooper's current Ewok-related meltdown can qualify for this.

This actually sounds quite amusing. Link?

I Am Phenom saying everyone was out to get him because he was gay or something to that effect

Oh my god that kid was weird. The moment he found out I was bisexual he would not stop PMing me about all of his clearly confused gay feelings. Then he eventually decided he was gay and fucking PMed me the gross details of his first butt-sex. I'm not even making this shit up, he really did send me this PM, talking about how he preferred to be a bottom and shit. That was about the point where I stopped responding.

Protip: Probably should keep it to yourself if you're gay or bisexual on here because you WILL get PMed by confused members who think you're some kind of role model they can look up to and get life answers from. Awkwaaaaard.

I found the Xfear/Konnan sign after some digging. Didn't think I would; probably the best sign ever made.

Oh god that was a sig that Eternal Dragon made for me during that whole fiasco, haha! That was great.

Yeah, the whole Konnan ordeal was probably my personal favorite experience on here. He was SO fucking easy to troll into a seething homophobic, racist pile of gangster 90s stereotypes, I feel giddy just thinking about that again. He was legit pissed that I was telling people we were lovers. Like this was a real thing and he was going to get even with me for it. Oh god, my sides.

I can see a whole lot of people loved when I shared the Sidious PMs and thread stuff. I almost felt bad about that. ALMOST. But I felt the world needed to know just the extent to which his latent homosexual weirdness went to and his fetish for underwear and Alex Wright. Too funny.

This whole thread is glorious and makes me miss all the good times we've had on here over the years. Hard to believe I've been on this forum for nearly 6 years now. Time sure does fly, eh?

Oh fine I guess I get excluded because I don't live close to any of those places

Well, if you would move to Kentucky or Ohio with half the rest of us you wouldn't be forgotten. I kid of course.

I live fifteen minutes from Kentucky. I can be in Louisville in 90. Nashville is about two and a half hours. I don't wanna go to your nerd convention anyway

I've met a few people from here including:

Tasty, Dave, Phoenix, Deexter, Madcap, Sam, Gelgarin

Not if I drive like a madman it's not; I've covered the distance from Nashville to Bowling Green in 30 one time. That's like an hour and half drive normally for an old person.
