Good Job Michael "Free Basing" Hayes

Shocky

Kissin Babies and Huggin Fat Girlz
It has been confirmed that head SmackDown writer Michael Hayes has been suspended for 60 days. More details on this story should be coming out tomorrow.

Spot Monkey see, Spot Monkey do, now we know where Jeff Hardy probably learned his habit.

Good riddance. I am the professional Free Bird basher of Wrestlezone. This guy is the asshole that is pushing for Jeff Hardy and a world title. This is the asshole that wanted to keep Benoit down because he lacked charisma. This is the asshole that dared to challenge Mick Foley when Mick Foley *gasp* said that the Death of McMahon was stupid.

Good move Fabulous Free Base Hayes. Hopefully you find the back of an unemployment line before too long. You've contributed nothing to the business except for rampant drug use and cheap heat by flashing you're confederate flag robe, woo hoo.

If what you say in this paragraph is true and i have no reason to doubt you at all, then i agree with you and dont let the door hit you in the arse on the way out Hayes.

You see I hate Jeff Hardy with a passion, and love Mick and Benoit therefore I now hate Michael Hayes and will blame him for everything that has ever gone wrong in my life.
I suppose we will wait and see what the reasons were behind the suspension but doesnt 60 days = suspension 2?

If this is drug use, you have to feel for this guy. He has a history of drug problems and was clean for awhile cause of how his friends all died as he said on the VIP Lounge a few months back. As much as you might dislike his storylines idea when it comes to this story you have to have a little bit of sympathy for the guy, at least i do

um no you dont.

drugs are bad. dont do them.

fairly simple. In the end you make decisions for yourself. He decided he would do drugs. So he gets what he deserves.

Agreed NorCal, I'd like to be spared the "drugs ruined his life story." He ruined his life, he just used drugs to do it.

I used to use pro/growth hormones. Had I fucked up my life it would have been my fault, not the drugs.

if it's drug use and he was clean because of what it did to his friends, well that's his fault...they still killed your pals michael.

Wow isn't it amazing how that 8th grade Health class actually did mean something? But I'm guessing most of the eventual drug user were to stoned to pay attention.

Michael Hayes can only blame Michael Hayes, period. Maybe his friends and everyone dropping dead should have been a wake up call.

Michael Hayes has always been an idiot. He held Benoit back because he was not "marketable" and he probably influenced Jeff to do drugs....or not....but still Michael Hayes was an idiot and should not have even been writing Smackdown storylines....good riddance

I'm all for the whole its your fault philosphy, but to actually be glad a guy is suspended from his job seems a bit far. Yeah sure the first time he took drugs was his fault (mabye, mabye he was forced, mabye the peer pressure was too much) but things such as addiction do exist and thats why people keep returning to them without wanting to. So, no, you don't have to fell sorry for the guy but you really should and mabye instead of complaining about his past decisions you should express some semblance of a wish to see him get better, I mean, I hate Cena as champ but I never wanted to see him injured and when he was I thought it was pretty sick how people reacted, this situation ain't much different.

Anyway NorCal, it says your from the East Coast, im guessing that means if your shot we should b as angry at you as with the gunman ssince it was you who decided to live in a country that loves guns so much and has them so readily available (don't get me wrong I love the US and am going there in 2months bt your access to guns is ******ed, hell you can even get them in wall mart). Similarily, I guess that if anyone from amsterdam dies of an overdose theirs nothing wrong with that as drugs are legal there.

As wrestling fans we should be angry when someone in the business lets us down eg Jeff Hardy bt we should also wish that the person gets better and changes their ways, we should hate what was done not who did it.

Furthermore, I noticed your a HHH fan (so am I), correct me if i'm wrong bt wasn't he on the gas for a long time, aren't steroids a drug, aren't quad tears a symptom of that, should we have been disgusted with HHH when he tore his quad last year due to his drug use or should we have been sending him our best wishes on the road to recovery. Of course the answer is obvious which, and it should be the same for anyone in the same position...

have people not noticed that lot of the best feuds in WWE have come from smackdown over the past year aswell? whether or not u personally like this guy, which personally i tend to have a good opinion of him, if hes the guy writing smackdown then hes done a much better job than the people writing raw...
edge has become a top top star since moving to smackdown, the batista/taker feud was well done if not a bit too long, jamie nobles push and comedic storylines were absolutely freakin fantastic!!! smackdown has improved a hell of alot over the last year to 18months so i personally hope he comes back fit and well and continues to help improve smackdown!
best wishes michael hayes

WWE creative team member Michael Hayes has been suspended from the company for 60 days following an incident that took place in Orlando during Wrestlemania weekend. Hayes, the head writer of the SmackDown brand, allegedly used racist language towards SmackDown star Mark Henry.

The incident took place at a party that was held either Friday or Saturday night. Hayes had been drinking when he approached Mark Henry. Hayes told Henry, "I'm more of a n----- than you are." Henry took offense to the comment. After a physical altercation between the two, Henry reported the issue to either Vince or Stephanie McMahon.

At first, WWE tried to keep the suspension quiet. People who inquired were told that Hayes on vacation. However, when word got out about the incident with Henry, it was revealed that Hayes is suspended.

I Don't know if this is the reason, but is the only thing I've found so far... I supose this is his second strike since he is suspended for 60 days, but maybe the standard rate for racism.

Anyways who cares about him, I mean, he is doing a "good" job in smackdown, at least we don't have ridiculous bastard children storylines, but nothing to make him the greatest creative of all time... I say let's fire him and bring back dusty rhodes... we'll get a lot of ref bumps :smashfreakB:

um, what the FUCK are you talking about, first of all. Me living in a place is a circumstance, not a choice. And I never said I was glad he was on drugs. I said he got what he deserved. and he did. and I AM glad he got punished for it. Should he be allowed to run around doing whatever while guys like Hardy get suspended?? Um, NO. So yea, I am glad he got busted, and he DID get what he deserved. Taking steroids is an unfair advantage. So if Trips tore his quad because of them, then he got what he had coming to him as well. BTW steroids to enhance your preformance for fans, and smoking the dope, are two entirely different arenas, and comparing them, like comparing drug use to me living somewere is absurd.

Wll, now that the above has come out, this manages to make this even MORE stupid. Run around making racist comments like a moron. He is lucky to not have gotten fired over that. He is also lucky Mark Henry didnt tear his arms off as well.

Lucky for Hayes, Mark Henry comes across a pretty gentle giant. What a surprise, the guy that made a living off of being a racist got busted for racism, who would have thunk it.

wow i look stupid now...racism cant be tolerated and im shocked that he was stupid enough to do what is being said...
now we just have to hope either he sorts himself out and goes back to writing great tv or they find someone just as good if not better to replace him if he messes up again!
either way i just hope smackdown doesnt go back to the trash it once was after the brand split because ive come to enjoy it recently

Hayes looks creeped me out, but one thing that is not tolerated in any sport now a days is racist comments, I hope he will learn his lesson from this, or he is out the door.

what sort of a jackass makes a racist comment to Mark Henry...the guy could destroy you if he wanted? Despite the fact he's not suspended for drugs, he still deserves it for a) being racist and b) being stupid enough to get into a fight with mark henry

First off, I personally don't think that Michael Hayes is a racist. Both Booker T and Bobby Lashley held titles while he was head booker on Smackdown. I think the comment he made to Mark Henry was an example of alcohal indueced stupidity. Even if he apoligised to Henry for what he said alot of people may have lost respect for him, especially any of the black wrestlers in WWE. Some people may not feel comfortable working with him anymore so I think it would be best if he never came back. Also it will be interesting to see how Smackdown fares without him.

I'm in shock actually that Mark Henry was offended by that. Really? Most black people I know wouldn't take offense to that, because Hayes didn't call Henry a nigger, he said he was more of one then him. No one here has ever gotten wasted and made a racist joke? Really? Are you kidding me? Please. Step off the high horses gentlemen.

I'm not even slightly racist, and despise true racists of all kinds. But this sounds to me like Hayes got drunk and made a bad joke. What a monster.

Has no one ever heard of dark humor? Really?

I'm not condoning racism, and if one person responds in such a way, they can go fuck themselves.

Should Hayes have gotten punished? Yeah, definately. But 60 days? That's ridiculious. One bad joke and he's out of a paycheck for two monthes? Even if you hate Michael Hayes you have to see the absurdity in this.

I think it's more to do with Konnan's racism issues that have been broadcast publicly lately. WWE showing they deal with racism.
