IHW, I believe invest in the board game. I have never seen a business more destined for success than Pancake's Momopoly. Fuck Google and Youtube, this is where it's at. After you receive the vast dividends, you'll be able to keep purchasing Pancake's mom for sexual favors.
HGR, you should maybe try and ask Mitch Hennessey if he will help. The guy has serious knowledge. Like serious knowledge. I missed the first Movie Tournament because I was banned, can't wait for this one.
If American History X is involved, I'll be backing that all of the way.
Once the BZ tournament gets underway in a few days I'm going to post a thread in the NSD asking for films people want included in the list. In the past there have been regions that divide the films into decades; the goal was to make it more fair to the older films so they could more easily stand up against the newer, more shiny productions. This time around, pending I don't change my mind I think it would be a fun idea to follow the example of the annual Wrestlezone Tournament. Regions are a good way to divide the brackets into chunks; makes it much more manageable. But doing it by decade to "handicap" certain films just doesn't make sense to me. You wouldn't "protect" Bret Hart or Lou Thesz from Daniel Bryan or CM Punk. You shouldn't protect One Flew Over or Citizen Kane from Fight Club or Eternal Sunshine.
I'm open to hearing a rebuttal, especially from KB, but I think classic film stands just as good of a chance to win as modern cinema. You stand behind a good film and you debate for it; not because it's old or new, but because it's damn good.
I think I'm going to model this after the Wrestlezone Tournament. 4 divisions of 32 films each, 6 rounds of elimination and one final battle to determine the greatest movie of all time. I didn't like the 4-way approach of the last tournament's final round. We might have to hurry things along a bit more than the WZ tournament; it's not near as important to the forums, nor do we have quite as much time.
What do we think about doing preliminary bouts for collections or film series? For instance, do one poll that asks "Which is the greatest bond film" or "what is the greatest of the Batman films"? You can do the same with the Star Wars, Indiana Jones, or really any franchise. It solves later bickering about which movies should have been included, and gives more stand-alone films a presence instead of having 2-3 from each collection.
The regions would serve simply as a means to organization. I don't like having decades fight against decades. And there's no way to add certain gimmicks like in the Wrestlezone tournament.

If anybody was wondering what my music tastes are like, here's a crash course of some of my favorite, and/or most frequented music in my iTunes library:
Sigur Ros - "Glosoli"; I consider this band of misfits to be the most talented group in the world today. Everything they do is incredible.

Glen Hansard - "When Your Mind's Made Up"; There is absolutely nothing complicated about Glen. But he is incredibly passionate, and his gruff voice adds so much the final product. If you haven't seen "Once", I recommend it. It's a indie romance based on the music of Glen and Merketa Irglova.

Dream Theater - "On the Backs of Angels"; When people talk about metal and bands like Metallica I simply have to wonder why they'd ever choose that over prog-metal and the best prog band in the world, Dream Theater. You find me one guitarist in metal or rock better than John Petrucci, I'll kiss you and give you a fucking medal.

Panic at the Disco - "Hurricane"; These guys really came out and shocked me with "Vices & Virtues". I was never really a fan (although I always prefered them to Fallout Boy), but this album is just so damn good!

Muse - "MK Ultra"; The Resistance is one of my favorite full albums. I'm not sure what to think of this apparent new direction they're going on, because the old one was so good! I still dont' buy into the rumor that they're doing dubstep; I think it's a marketing ploy.

Hey Marseilles - "Calabasas"; More indie folk/rock here. This song has a great build, and I'm currently using it for a video I'm making of our trip across the country.

Five Iron Frenzy - "It Was a Dark and Stormy Night"; Behold, my punk-rock ska favorite from junior high and part of high school! I mean, second favorite after Streetlight Manifesto, but...you know...whatever. I never got to see them, as they retired before I got the chance, but they just got back together to record a new album, and I'm hoping to catch them on a potential tour. :3

There's so much more, but that should keep you busy for awhile, if anybody chooses to actually listen to any of it.
If Legally Blonde doesn't make the cut in this movie tournament, you're going to see a side of me you've never seen before. These words have been marked by me.
