Anyway, the Dragonborn will be present at the Fall of the Blue Palace, not to the Stormcloaks or Thalmor but into the sea...
I imagine though that the Dragonborn's actually future lies beyond Skyrim and perhaps even Tamriel. Not sure he is stupid enough to go to Atmora but Akavir could definitely be a destination. Or if he was feeling really adventurous, perhaps looking west across the Eltheric Ocean to the remnants of Yokuda or further south to Pyandonea.
I suppose though that it is possible that due to his interactions with the Daedra that the Dragonborn gets some kind of deal to extend his life, although I am not so certain he would want something akin to what is rumoured to have happened to the Hero of Kvatch.
Here's a quick haiku about me and my exams next week:
I am really fucked
Where did the semester go?
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK
I don't think he's leaving Tamriel. He might journey outside of Skyrim depending what the war against the Thalmor calls for, but there is just too much to do and see in Tamriel for him to worry about exploring Akavir or Pyadonea.
But, what if the Dragonborn leaves Tamriel to save it from himself. Dragons, and men who have been gifted with it feel the dragon's desire to conquer and dominate. The stock Dragonborn clearly cares for his land, which is why he fought off the son of Akatosh. If he stays in Tamriel sooner or later he's going to try and conquer the land in his own name. That may not sit well with him, hence following the Nevarine in a futile attempt at conquering another continent.
If he stays and conquers (or attempts to, at least) Tamriel, what makes him any better than Thalmor or fucking General Talos, who was also a Dragonborn?
Also... aren't you in your first year of university?
You know what really sucks? Taking a big rip of the bowl, holding it in, and then sneezing uncontrollably.
Motherfucker. That hurt.
Yeah. I know i probably shouldn't fret but I do this the whole time.
If he's constantly being thrown challenges like Thalmor and Daedric Princes, I think he'd be a little too busy to worry about conquering for himself.
I could be wrong, but isn't the time span between games is typically a couple hundred years?
But here's the thing, he like all other dragons lusts for power, and when fighting a war that will manifest as taking more land for yourself. Even Paarthurnax still feels the urge to conquer after thousands of years, and I doubt any self respecting dragonborn is going to be willing to isolate himself until he dies to fight his inate urge to dominate.
EDIT: also, it seems to be a rule that at some point between games, the previous protagonist fucks off and/or dies. Crossing the ocean to save Tamriel from himself accomplishes that.
Where are you getting this information? I was always under the impression that the Dragonborn had a little more self-control than that. He is, after all, physiologically different from dragons in many ways.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Paarthurnax say words to that effect? Also, the kind of self control it took for Paarthurnax (i.e. isolation and meditation) doesn't exactly fit with the Dragonborn fighting on the front lines.
The NXT spoilers make me a sad Remix.
Surely you should be pleased, no?
Kruger's getting screentime and wrestling Gabriel... while teaming with Kassius Ohno. Who I despise.
