Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Is public transportation an option? I know students can ride the bus for free if they show their student ID here in Utah.

There's no public transit system in Cleveland? I figured Cleveland never wins anything in sports there buses and trains would be safe from destruction.

Public transportation is an option, I'm just terrified of it.

Hey Harthan, are you going to the CHIKARA show in Cleveland next Sunday? I am.

Maybe. It's a ways away, though, even on public transit. My relationship with my friend with a car is a bit strained at the moment, so I'm not sure.

Again, I'd be there in a heartbeat if I had a car. It'd take 20 minutes, tops.

The last war between the Romans and Persians and the subsequent rise of Islam during the seventh century.

Question, will it have a nice photograph/painting as the front cover?

Hopefully so. Not sure if I have the choice but if I do, it will be this - left side on the back and the right side on the front.

Beats the heck out of my Dad's book cover.

Which is a nice photo, and no doubt very suitable for a book about forced evictions in the Scottish Highlands. But even so, it's not really comparable to something that's in the Louvre.

Wow, they actually got someone funny to host SNL? Preposterous. Still not enough to make me actually want to watch SNL though. How was it?

They had Seth Macfarlane hosting a few weeks ago. It was pretty great.

It was a little better than I was expecting it to be. Louis isn't a great actor and that was apparent, but he showed some things I've never really seen from him before.

I haven't watched SNL in like 15 yrs., so no.

The Weekend Updates are usually the only consistently good part of that show.

Why yes, yes I did.

There were some slow points like normal but it was still pretty good if only for the man above. His monologue had me rolling- "I wish I were attracted to old ladies."....

I already saw the "Decency Chicken" bit when I saw him live, but it was cool to see him do it clean and still get laughs.

I loved the Lincoln bit and the Australian Cinema Legends bit.

I thought it was shit even before that

Space is cool. Ancient alien ruins are cool. Biologists that are terrified of biology but only when it's dead and not when it's a strange snake creature that you've never seen before and feel the need to go up and practically french it... those aren't cool.

I watched Immortals last night, it was just as shitty as I thought it was going to be.

That movie....(holds gun to head, pulls trigger).

My friend convinced me it would be a good buy, so I bought it. Might be the biggest waste of money in my life. I fell asleep like 5 times and I swear I woke up in the same spot each time. Just awful.

So in the life of Theo, you know my life is boring when you get excited about going couch shopping. Going to see if we can find a new couch for the apartment as the one we have is ripping up and having a cat doesn't help that matter. Plus I may be getting a king size bed (for free!). I really need to find something exciting to do.
