Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

1 is boring the hell out of me.

It's quite repetitive and slow, and the story, while okay, is told pretty horribly. I have no idea how the game got so popular that it wound up becoming one of the most popular franchises. I assure you Assassin's Creed 2 is much much much better.

Yeah most tell me that and most tell me I need to finish 1 really.

I actually played a bit of Mass Effect 2 today! Feel proud of me! I started on the mission The Convict. Really loving it so far, prison has great atmosphere.

I can't end this Borderlands 2 addiction I have. Already got a lvl 50 Ninja and I'm working on my level 27 Commando. JGlass if you ever liked Diablo or RPG games you would love Borderlands.

I love Scottie Youngs work, though I still think that Punisher being apart of that team is ridiculous & totally out of character for him

Eh, nothing you really do as Altair, save the final mission (and even that is a maybe), is really that important to 2 or Brotherhood. The only thing that's important is what happens to Desmond at Abstrego after he's done with Altair's memories.

Yesssss, both the fact you're playing Mass Effect 2 and the fact that you're rescuing Jack makes me very happy. Jack's a bad ass in every way imaginable, arguably one of the biggest badasses in video game history.

It looks kind of similar to Fallout, and that's a very good thing. But I have other games I want to play first, namely AC Revelations, AC3, NBA 2K13, and maybe even WWE13.

I'm cheating this year, fuck shaving off my playoff beard for no shave November. What 3 days before it starts? Call me a cheater, I just dont like Razor burn...

I don't think anyone is going to call you on not going into No Shave November clean shaven. In fact, I didn't even know that was a rule.

Jiggles, do you watch Sons of Anarchy, by chance? Just caught up through season 3 on Netflix. It's awesome.

Been saying that for years, the season 3 finale is by far one of my favorite episodes on any TV show ever. Season 4 is insanely intense, as has this season been so far.

I wish Netflix would add The Shield & Justified already, they have just about every other noticeable FX show on there already, why not those two?

No, I don't watch Sons of Anarchy, and I probably won't get around to it for a while. Next up on the queue is The Wired, and it's been that way for almost a year now.

The season 3 finale is fucking amazing. The last fifteen minutes were ridiculous.

I've got a full plate of TV right now, I'm trying to stay caught up on SOA, The League, Revolution, The Walking Dead, Comicbook Men, Last Resort, & Arrow. At the same time I'm trying to get caught up on Justified before season 4 starts.

After 22 months, 190 pages, 44 maps, 26 pictures, countless emails, extortionate pricing of photos and 105,000 words, Barbosa's first full literary outing is finally complete.

Hooray! Now what's your next step? Do you have an editor and a publisher or do you have to shop it around?

Yeah, I have an editor and a publisher so my next step is to post it to them and wait for them to send me the "prototype" book.

Already in preliminary negotiations for another book and have a form to fill in regarding getting my PhD published too.

So hopefully soon, you will all be able to contribute to the "Barbosa never has to do a proper day's work again" fund

Went and saw The Man With The Iron Fists tonight, it was a pretty solid movie, I think RZA had a lot more story to tell but they cut out a ton of it in post production from the looks of it. I think I hyped myself too much for the movie but overall something I'd watch again.

Russell Crowe was awesome in it. He pretty much went with the campy style that's required in a kung fu movie and it worked perfect.

Just saw The Man with the Iron Fists.

RZA should stay away from being the lead actor in his own films, but it was a pretty damn good movie if you like Kung Fu movies.

EDIT: Damn you Ty.

Sorry to beat you to the punch, not really but I'll say it anyway.

RZA is actually a decent actor but he's gotta be put in the right role, and this obviously wasn't it. He's got a lot of charisma but for some reason showed none whatsoever in the film. Support roles he's fine for but as you said not as a lead actor. I can understand why he wanted to star in this one since he's pretty much always wanted to be in a kung fu movie so I'll humor him for that. Directing wise I think he did a fine job and considering he's a huge fan of kung fu movies I think he did pretty damn well.

Also saw the trailer for Django Unchained, looks pretty solid I'll probably check that out as well.
