Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

This picture does not include him getting "new-found aggression" once every 2 weeks.

As long as we are discussing Ziggler, I think that WWE is protecting him by not having him do a 8-10 minute promo with Cena. That would REALLY prove how "good" Ziggler is on the mic.

Where does he find the time to pick up his rental cars?

I'm going home today, but I got to the bus station to early. It's a disaster! Now I have to wait 45 minutes until my bus gets here.

I'll be making my vote sometime soon, but not after I make a long-winded post about why the candidate I'm choosing is the better option... because that's how I roll.

Reads to me like you're going to vote Coco but hedge it by saying how close it was and/or how D-Man's better now but man, if you look back at 2009...

Am I close?

As far as Orton, the guy is beyond bland and stale to me. People bitch about Cena being bland. Cena is Brodus Clay circa January 2012 compared....to......Randy......Ort....RKO OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE!!!!

Remember a while back when he hit that RKO on Evan Bourne while Bourne was trying to hit Air Bourne? That moment made me jump out of my seat. It was fucking terrific. Then they used the RKO out of nowhere over and over and over and over. I get not letting a guy hit his finisher on the first try to build suspense, but with Orton it is the same thing night in and night out. I just can't get excited for him, no matter how sexy his dropkick is.

Using "he uses the same finish all the time" is a bit redundant in the Pavlovian world of professional wrestling, isn't it? Besides, I think Orton is actually someone who it's difficult to level that accusation at, seeing as his finish always comes from a different scenario in spectacular new ways.

Simultaneously, I think Orton's had a shit year and - thanks to Coco - I'm thinking of retiring my role as Orton apologist if he doesn't pull his finger out soon.

My Fave Five, because the masses were baying for it:
  1. Daniel Bryan
  2. Austin Aries
  3. CM Punk
  4. Bobby Roode
  5. James Storm

But I didn't think it through very hard and, as such, it's subject to change at the slightest hint of criticism.

Yes. Kind of. I'm not sure. I might be coy and make it look like it was a close decision, or maybe I'll come out swinging for the fences with an aluminum bat, taking out the brains and spleens of anyone that stands in my way. Or maybe I won't post at all and wait until the last second to vote, hoping it goes unnoticed so as to not rock the boat. Or is as to not rock the boat?

That list makes you look gay.

Sorry Sam, must have deleted that part of my post when I told you your list makes you look gay. It's back now, and almost word for word what I said the first time.

Even the most hardened berserkers like Grune and Bronn would have been fucked by a simultaneous attack of 15-20 draugrs plus Olaf himself. It would have been glorious though, worthy of song and a place in Sovngarde.

I found it easy. But I had a shield.

As someone who knows D-Man offline, I expect your post to all-but-confirm my view of him.

Was that the correct hyphenation?

...Doc?

...DOC?!

I found it easy. But I had a shield.

I was reading something about Olaf's throne/tomb room and it appears that the draugrs would have come in three separate waves had I let them - about 8 lower level ones, 4 higher level ones and then finally Olaf. Plus the ghostly Svaknir the Bard is seemingly a rather able fighter himself.

Would have been better to just have them all attack at once - four Deathlords, a Death Overlord and several Scourges and Wights attacking at the same time would have at least looked rather spectacular, a medieval Burly Brawl.

I think if Dolph Ziggler didn't have all this fanfare surrounding him then I wouldn't hate him so much. But since he's constantly being lauded as the next superstar of the WWE with some folks going so far as to call him the future of the WWE... it's just too much. It makes me hate Dolph Ziggler way more than Dolph Ziggler could make me hate Dolph Ziggler.

I get that. It's the same reason I was turned off by Ambrose for a long time. That and the live appearance I saw him at made no impression on me aside from "huh, Alex Riley still gets good face pops".

I haven't even contemplated what my fave 5 looks like these days, I'm just so underwhelmed by the WWE product. I guess it would be Daniel Bryan, Cena, Ryback, Sandow, Mysterio.

-Cena
-Team Hell No
-Ziggles
-Primetime Players
-Rhodes Scholars

Yes I'm cheating by using tag teams, sue me.

He's not a good talent though. He's a bad talent. He has proven time and time again that he has trouble working matches even with WWE's best wrestlers and is totally lost when he's stuck working with guys who aren't ring generals. Just two weeks ago he screwed up the finish of the tag match with Cena and Sheamus, two of the best wrestlers in the WWE right now.

I guess that shows how much I pay attention or how I'm easily amused. I find nearly all of Ziggler's matches to be entertaining. He is just one of those guys who I see in the match I know I'm going to enjoy it. IE Cena, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan

Yes, those chants are a very fond memory. However, I don't think the WWE really dropped the ball. In fact, Ryder is perfect for the role he's playing now as he's in a very rare position as a jobber where people still care about him enough that they are actually mad at the heel when he loses. He was never going to be a WWE Champion, so when you consider the fact that he went from a sure to be future endeavored candidate to a big part of the WWE machine, it's actually a very happy ending for Ryder.

Oh I agree, I just couldn't think of a better term. I think it came down more too the WWE unsure as to actually what to do with Ryder. They just threw the US title onto him and then were like "now what?". I think he could have been a damn good midcarder, but hey he has a paying job. Can't complain there.

Not bad Justin. My fave five is constantly changing and Ryback, Punk, and Sheamus are right on the outskirts of mine. It is pretty much who I find entertaining for the week and boom. All tends to fluctuate. It's about as consistent as the IWC's opinions.

Fav fives eh?

Well, gentlemen, (using the word "gentlemen" loosely) prepare to be blown away.

CM Punk
Daniel Bryan
Sandow
Heyman
JBL

Yes, yes. Stunning, I know. Obviously, the last two aren't wrestlers. It seems there were only three worth thinking about.

I wanna jump in on the circle jerk:

- Cena
- Bryan
- Sandow
- Punk
- Kofi

Oh, and here's a snippet of one of the many fine posts on my section. And no, it's not Dagger's:

If Del Rio is going to be portrayed as 'the Maxican Aristocrat'
