What don't you understand? Each person drafts a team of QB's, WR's, RB's, TE's, K's, Def's, typically you start 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 Def, & 1 K, & then you have a flex spot in which you can start any WR, RB, or TE on your team. Each player you start earns pts. based on their stats for that week, the team with the most pts. wins. That's a very basic description.

Tiebreakers in positioning are sorted by points scored. So while we are all 5-2, I have scored the most total points of the three of us.

Why do you only get 1 Def? And I don't know every fucking player in the nfl... I like the Texans, and I will watch the Pack. That's about it.

Just try to keep your nerves under control and you'll be fine. Though, getting advice from people who've gone through this before is a great idea.

I don't think it's an issue of nerves as much an issue of focus. I find that phone interviews are less stressful than in-person interviews, but it's very easy to lose focus. Additionally, the best part about an in-person interview is it's easy to read the person interviewing you, an advantage you don't have on the phone.

And Mr. Fitzpatrick is a very good person to talk to in this situation because he hires people for a living, so he's probably been on the other end of many a phone interview.

Too much for my liking.

I've started that firefighting gig and while it's awesome, it's overwhelming as fuck. It's a small department with a crew size of seven but there has to be a minimum of five on at all time. Needless to say, because of summer and hunting, all of the crews are running with five all the time. This means that I have no know everything now because if shit ever hits the fan, I need to be counted on as one of the five. So much shit's being thrown at me that I can only hope that something is sticking.

In addition, because I have been on the department in another division for four years, I already had my probationary year so I'm not a probationary firefighter, I'm fourth class. In one year, near my anniversary date, I'll have to write my incremental exam to get promoted to third class (this will continue until I reach first class, then I can write my captains exam three years after that if I choose which I most likely will)

While it's nice to be able to reach first class in three years, opposed to four, I have to essentially learn two years of information and hands on shit in one year because I'm going to be tested on both years this summer.

I still hope to eventually get my ass back here on a regular basis, but I have no idea when that will happen.

Are people still playing on making a pilgramige to WrestleMania? Is anyone/a group of people interested in splitting on a hotel room?

Dude, I didn't realize you had to put so much work into firefighting, damn! I also can't pretend that I understood more than a few things there, but the fact that you have a lot on your plate right now was definitely apparent.

We are either staying at an average lower end hotel/motel and doing 3 rooms (two in each) or going all out for a suite. I should probably get to discussing that with them.
