Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Should I embrace the whole Mormon thing and get my name changed to Elder Crock? I can use the Book of Mormon as my siggy and everything.

Only if Jglass changes his name name to Rabbi JGlass (so some other high ranking title in the jewish religion).

Has anyone else watched Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Pt. 1 yet? Holy shit, possibly the best of the DCAU features yet, well worth the $20 I spent on the blu-ray, there is an excellent Bob Kane doc in the extras that is well worth checking out.

Wolverine & The X-men this week was awesome, if you're a Doop fan I highly recommend picking up it up, great fun one shot story.

I'll agree that they are evenly matched but for me they are too alike to get a decent discussion going. Hulk and Juggernaut are the same, although as I said in the thread, Goku/Juggernaut would no better a final as it would just be basically a repeat of Goku/Hulk. For the Supers to have an interesting final, in my mind Wolverine had to get past Juggernaut.

Although I freely admit that they are already two of my favourites, such one-dimensional match ups are the reason why I argue in favour of the likes of Link and Darth Vader.

I don't know whether to start Flacco or Rodgers. Bush didn't practice yesterday so I'm thinking of picking up one of his backups or starting Danny Woodhead. Decisions, decisions.

That the BZT finals are looking like being Hulk/Juggernaut and Iron Man/Samus saddens me.

So one-dimensional.

Iron Man/Samus is a pretty interesting match-up, they're fairly evenly matched. I could see that one going either way.

Samus/Iron Man 2 is going to be amazing. Fitfinlay and I will probably be having aneurysms debating each other.

It fucking sucks, doesn't it? That we even have to answer that question.

That said, the correct answer is Rodgers. The Saints defense is even worse than the Browns.

30 pack of Pbr and a bottle of Black Velvet? Godspeed the next morning.

I don't have an iron stomach like you, Phatso. Besides, it's pumpkin beer season!

High ranking title in the Jewish religion :lmao:. As far as I know, we Jews aren't quite as bureaucratic as Catholics. Then again, I was raised in a Reconstructionist congregation which is arguably the most liberal interpretation of Judaism this side of Jews for Jesus.

This Ravens/Browns game feels like it'll be one of those games where Flacco won't put up impressive numbers. I've seen too much of that from him. I'm not that worried because Justin has Alex Smith.

Maybe. Considering the Browns secondary is worse than their line, it makes more sense for Flacco to go to his receivers and therefore would likely get more TDs. But, considering the Ravens best weapon is Rice...they might just go that way and try to smash through. All in all, though, if Rodgers doesn't absolutely destroy the Saints, then you know it's time to initiate code red.

Why aren't you ever on Facebook anymore? I want to rub it in your face how wrong some of your fantasy predictions were and complain about shit to you.

I disagree. I am happy that fanyboy messiahs like Goku and Vader aren't at the finals. Things are no fun when it's the same old same old.

You have a culinary mind Theo, any suggestions?

Our go to party food seems to be "Tacos in a bag". I don't mind them but they give me incredible indigestion. You take a small bag of doritos and throw taco meat into it. Shake it up and boom instant meal. A bit on the pricey side I'd assume since you have to be the small bag of doritos and ground beef as well.

Actually come to think of it we usually have Mexican food at our parties. My go to food is usually salsa (my mom's recipe (or as she calls it "slop"). I tend to mix weird things when I'm drunk (or sober for that matter). But I always seem to dip sugar cookies in it and just absolutely love it.

While I would caution that anti-anime/DBZ and pro-Marvel/DC has been as bad at times in the tournament, I can understand that point of view.

However, as someone who does not care who wins, I would far rather have an interesting discussion, which I think multi-dimensional characters like Link and Vader give more room for. Even the likes of Goku has more dimensions that the likes of Hulk and Juggernaut who rely solely on brute force.

Trying to devise tactics and strategies that could lead to Vader defeating the Hulk or Link ousting Iron Man is far more interesting, at least to me, than having a contest between two fighters that rely on exactly the same kind of weaponry/strengths - "irresistable force vs immovable object" and "man in an iron suit vs woman in an iron suit"
