General TNA Destination X 2008 Thread

Dont just write what you think the matches are going to be. Give reasons.​

This PPV couldn't be much worse than last years. I have to say that the 2007 version was by far one of the worste PPV's I've ever seen. I couldn't find one positive in that show. And the match I was most looking forward to was a colossal dissapointment. Even I hoped Angle could carry Steiner to a decent match. If Scotty was still in his prime that would have been awesome.

So another month, another gimmick fill PPV from TNA wrestling. I don'T know what it is with them and gimmicks but enough is enough. i understand why you would have a strap match with Booker T and Robert Roode but why have a street fight with Team 3d and shark Boy/curry man. And the worst part of it is that if Team 3D don'T make weight or lose to these guy, they are gone from TNA. What the point to having a street fight in the first place. It'S not like they are in a feud or something. You Also have ELevation X which is the most dangerous match of all. This match should even exist but and should be boring simply because the fans will probably be silent during the whole thing.

Finally what up with the main event, what the point of having a five minutes advantage anyway. It's just a poinless way of making the main event more complicated and i wouldn'T be surprised to see KAren Angle come back and screw Soma Joe'S team in the process.

Has for the rest of the card is pretty made of throaway match that should be good but are there has window dressing.

Predictions:

The Angle Alliance vs. Kevin Nash, Christian Cage & Samoa Joe:

How out of place does Nash look in the TNA main event scene? Even former Heat jobber Tomko has more of a main event feel about him. Anyway. I expect this to be good. But nothing spectacular. Nash will probably drag it down with his aurthritic knees, and lame offence. It's Angle/Joe next month so I'm predicting an Alliance victory.

Elevation X:

Stupid. But I'm still looking forward to it. Storm wins. I think they will play off that Rhino is pissed and he'll stumble off. Really, I do.

X-Division Title Match:

I'm looking forward to this. Even with a stupid gimmick Lethal is exciting to watch. He'll get the victory this month. The rematch next month will got to Petey.

Strap Match:

Booker win. Good matches, yet a boring feud.

Women's Title Match:

Can't wait for this. ODB get's pinned by Kong. Gail doesn't. Therefore rematch next month. Too predictable. Should be good though.

Fish Market Street Fight:

Jesus Christ. 3D win.

LAX vs. Rock 'n' Rave vs. MCM:

This will steal the show. I'm unsure who will win. I hope it's Sabin & Shelley. I'd love to see them face Tomko & Styles. LAX have faced off with Styles and whoever his partner is multiple times, so I hope they don't win.

Rellik & Black Reign vs. Kaz & Eric Young:

I really don't care.

Overall:

Too many gimmick matches. Do TNA not remember that Lockdown is but a month away? There's also potential for A LOT of rematches on next months PPV. Like always I'm sure there will be an absolute diamond somewhere in that pile of shit.
