Why was Adam Cole blocked from signing with WWE? I get the Brisco's as they're a legit draw for ROH but why Cole? He doesn't exactly set the world on fire.

Also what happened with Cabana & ROH? Last I saw him was that tag match with Generico against Steen & Corino.

Also Genrico is kayfabe injured after Steen package piledrivered him through a table at Best In The World(or some PPV).

So the big 10th Anniversary show does not have a World Title match?

Ok

Yep. ROH has botched the 10th Anniversary Show beyond belief. Gabe posted something on Facebook saying that he would've booked Jay Briscoe challenging Davey for the title at the show. That would have been amazing. I love me some Jay Briscoe.

Here are the results from tonight's "10 Anniversary Show."

http://rohworld.com/news/329.html

It was a pretty decent show. My favorite match was the House of Truth vs TJP and Amazing Red. The main event predictably ran too long for my liking, but I loved the finish. I also loved the Eddie Kingston and Kevin Steen confrontation.

I heard the show was awesome. I'll get my eyes on it soon. I've entertained some ideas of catching up on ROH but I've decided against it, I haven't got the time, I'm just going to dive back in with this show.

I wouldn't say it was a great show, even though from the looks of it a lot of people think it is. It was a good show with some great moments. It's definitely worth a watch.

It's rare for ROH fans to say an ROH show isn't great.

I'm a realist. It was a good show that had some great moments, most of which involved Kevin Steen. Adam Cole pinning Davey Richards was a nice surprise, too, even though I thought the match did go too long.

Kevin Steen is on a whole other level compared to anybody in ROH right now.

I'm actually getting tired of Richards as ROH Champion, not doing it for me anymore. And please God, stop pushing Mike Bennett. ROH pushing Bennett is like WWE pushing Ryder, except Mike didn't have to go to great lengths to earn it.

ROH isn't too good these days. For a first time fan you probably wouldn't like it. Watch Chikara if you want to get an interest in indie stuff.

Yeah, I'll second this. CHIKARA now is what ROH was in 2005. They're killing it on every show and it's just fucking awesome. Indisputably King of the Indies now.

Pay attention to Johnny Gargano when you watch it, by the way. In about 6-7 years, he'll be the new CM Punk.

Meh, I love CHIKARA, but when it comes to match quality I definitely wouldn't call them the best of the indies right now, I watch every CHIKARA show and it's a rarity if we get like 3-4 matches in an entire year that crack into **** territory. Most of the shows it's just the same exact six man main event, which is fine and usually in the ***-ish star range, but I wouldn't exactly say they kill it with every show. For sheer match quality I'd take alot of promotions over CHIKARA, but CHIKARA has the benefit of having awesome storylines and characters you actually care about unlike ROH and most indies these days.

In terms of total package, art form kind of stuff, I don't think anyone does it better than Chikara.

Anyone else think last week's show with the Blind Destiny qualifiers was the best episode yet? It got me excited for Showdown In the Sun.

It should be on the website. I enjoyed the episode quite a bit. It featured Kenny King vs Jay Lethal, Adam Cole vs Kevin Steen and Kyle O'Reilly vs Michael Elgin.

Anyone see the Night Two main event between Michael Elgin and Davey Richards for the ROH Title? I usually hate Davey's matches, but I thought it was absolutely brilliant. I was screaming while watching it and it is definitely be one of the best matches of the year. Awesome match.
