So my city had their city wide rummage sale today.
I was able to pick up a PS2 Slim with 25 games and 2 controllers for $35. Didn't come with a memory card however, so I ordered a 128 MB one off Ebay, and component cable as well.
I've never owned a PS2 actually. So this will leave just the N64 as a major console I haven't owned.
Lee said:Hey man, so I bought an XBOX One but that doesn't mean that I won't purchase a Wii U. I've got some questions.
Sure thing.
So I know the gamepad is the primary controller but if you don't want to use it, can you use the Wii U Pro Controller as your primary controller and just put the gamepad aside? Not a fan of the gamepad but I do like that if someone is using your TV, you can still play your game on the gamepad.
Most games will use the pro controller, some even a wiimote. I use the pro controller for most, though I do get used to the gamepad (eventually).
Can you explain the online gaming to me? I know you can plug in 4 controllers and have friends over to play. But when it comes to playing with people from all over the world. Like..am I able to play a game with you? Tell me how that works.
Just the same as normal online. You have a Nintendo ID and friends you can play or you can play random matches.
What are you currently playing? And what games do you have right now?
Currently playing Smash Bros and Mario Kart 8. In addition I have:
Nintendo land, need for speed most wanted, Tank Tank Tank (which is awful), Assasins creed 3, Injustice Gods among us, Aplinter cell, Wind Waker HD, Arkham City, New Super Mario U, New SUper Luigi U, DK Country triplical freeze, Hyrule Warriors, New Super Mario 3D land, Wodnerful 101, Sonic all stars racing, AZombi U. I will be getting Lego City, Bayonetta, Rayman and Pikmin.
In addition I have a ton of indie titles athat are fun.
Is your Wii U the 8GB or 32GB version? Do you need to install Wii U games and have the disc inside in order to play it? Or do you just need to have the disc inside and you're able to play it?
You just need the disk inside to play it. I would suggest 8GB but buy an external hard drive as even with 32GB you'll need one eventually.
Mulling it over. I've a question which light Googling hasn't answered: do I have to use the motion controls to aim? Should I so choose, could I use the pro controller exclusively?
How would it be a death knell for Kojima?
