So Nintendo did bad? In comparison to last years or just generally? Last years set the bar pretty high if I remember correctly.

Nintendo didn't announce a new Zelda game, or new epic adventure, which is why people think it's bad.

They announced the Wii Sports-like title for Wii U (NintendoLand, a Theme Park with 12 different mini-games), they showed 20+ titles, including a new 2D Mario, M-Rated all new title from Ubisoft, Assassins Creed 3, Mass Effect 3 (probably updated in some way), an updated Arkham City, Wii Fit U, Sing, and a bunch of others. And they still have the developer roundtable, AND the 3DS keynote tomorrow.

Meanwhile, none of the other 1st party companies really revealed anything at all noteworthy. Nothing shocking from either Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo. Everyone knew Halo was coming, and it was the same thing as every other Halo. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 looked cool, but we all knew it was coming and it looked like every other COD game.

Honestly, NintendoLand may be the most unexpected game to be announced so far.

By their standards. There was nothing out there wow just everything we already knew. The Ubisoft stuff was announced last night, Arkham City last year. The only real unannounced Third Party big one was Mass Effect 3 which got about 5 seconds. First party was either already announced or a karaoke game, Wii Fit U and the Nintendo Land game. Nintendo Land is seemingly based on last years tech demos.

I marked out pretty hard at Tekken Tag Tournament 2, when Tekken Fighter A used a Mushroom to grow. And the new Ninja Gaiden and Scribblenauts were sweet.

There was no epic huge Zelda game, which couldn't be expected, since Skyward Sword just came out. Zelda Epics don't come out annually. New Zelda Epic will come out in a couple years, like they always do.

To be fair it gives a big scope for next year but I was expecting at least F-Zero/StarFox

I'd like to point out that Sony made several unexpected announcements: The exclusive AC game, Ellen Page in Quantics dreams new game, the new improved PS+ shit.

Was Watch_Dogs in the Ubisoft of Sony conference? That one caught me off guard.

Ubisoft.

I'd like to point out that Sony made several unexpected announcements: The exclusive AC game, Ellen Page in Quantics dreams new game, the new improved PS+ shit.

I'm 90% sure I'd read about that months ago.

The AC game was nice, especially with a woman protagonist.

Still Nintendo haven't even done their 3DS conference yet.

Frankly I thought Sony did one of the better presentations but Ubisoft probably has the best thus far.

Ubisoft has the better announcements but the presenters were terrible.

AC game? What exclusive AC game?

And the Quantic Dreams game was known to be shown, so it wasn't anything unexpected, as was the PS+ stuff.

That is awesome. Just. Awesome.

Ellen Page in Quantic Dreams new game

Not really. The feed at the bottom of the E3 stream I watched said that there was a new game coming off using the Kara technology and that Ellen Page was going to be starring in it. The only thing unknown was whether it was definitely a Quantic Dream game or not.

That doesn't mean I was any less excited for it. It looked brilliant, though this is coming from a Quantic Dream mark.

If I had to rate announcements/conferences, I'd say Ubisoft was first, with Sony & Nintendo tied. The new Mario games look great, because say what you will about the franchise the games are always good. It's also cool to have more Paper Mario info, and Scribblenauts Unlimited's object creation system is going to be excellent. Beyond looks amazing, as does The Last of Us, so Sony also had a strong showing. Ubisoft blew my mind with Watch_Dogs though, so that alone propels them to the top.

My most anticipated games coming out of E3: Watch_Dogs, Beyond, Scribblenauts Unlimited.

In a weird way, my most anticipated game is probably NintendoLand. I want to see how this new technology will work, and it will definitely be the best way to show it off during the launch window.

The 3DS press conference tomorrow may change my opinion though. I may get blown away by a Zelda 3DS game (I'm not gonna be shocked if it happens).

And you never got anything for free from Shitbox. Sony GIVES you free games every week. I have literally 15 games on my Playstation that were 100% free with my PS+ membership. Where are your free games? Nowhere, because Microsoft doesn't have anything close to that system.

That's what I'm getting at. of course they have the occasional sale, everyone does. Sony has sales all the time too. If I were talking about sales, I would have mentioned them. Instead I was talking about free things, which Microsoft doesn't have.

Well, you get what you pay for, the free games look neat but I don't see this move topping XBL Gold sales. But like I said, good move by Sony to sow their paying fans a little love.

I love how butthurt people are about Fire Emblem being accidentally leaked by Reggie.

It has Marth in it as well as an array of other Fire Emblem people from the past.

I've the full preview in a magazine but NOAs twitter have now confirmed it.

It will have DLC.

Just saw some game-play from The Last of Us and it looked Awesometacular. I'm also quite interested in PlayStation All Stars Battle Royal. I used to love playing Super Smash Bros on my Gamecube and now that I get that on my Ps3 with some of my all time favorite video game characters two words CAN'T WAIT. I might have to even buy a new Xbox for Halo 4 after checking the multiplayer out.
